Here is a tip from one of our PetPlace.com users:
As we all know by now, there is no such thing as dust-free clumping litter.
Most alternatives a prohibitively expensive. I have found a good compromise which, works very well for my cats:
I mix clumping clay litter half-and-half with Anderson's Clump'n Flush (made of wheat). This cuts down on the dust problem by at least 60-70% and it smells alot better than plain clay.
Clump'n Flush alone has it's own set of drawbacks; it flies all over the place when the cats dig, there is alot of tracking and, of course, the stuff is very, very expensive. But, mixed with clay, there is almost no tracking problem. Those two types of litter seem to complement each other well.
