    I think that was the end of the last innocent generation. Thanks, MCM - good memories for the most part. Could skip that Vietnam part, though.

  6. OMG, this is FABULOUS!!!!!! I loved it, and yes, yes, yes, I remember it all! The 60's, in my opinion were the very BEST :))) I will have to share this, thanks for posting it, MCM....made my day :)
    Yes, WWM, Vietnam was the worst.

  9. Ohhhhh......I remember...My transister radio was light turquoise in color and even had a leather case to better protect it. I never left home without it!!!! "yes I'm glad all over"! SIGH!!!!!! =D I was 18yrs old and got married the weekend after woodstock...didn't go though.....it was too far from my home town!

  10. Wow! Do I ever. Have been sharing things with some college friends from that time. My friend Lindy is losing ground fast, but we've been sharing a lot of memories from that time. And it's great to hear her laugh, even around the pain and the fogginess. When I think of the mischief a bunch of college kids can get into, I'm horrified today we didn't end up in jail. WWM, for some reason, when I think of that time, the song "Down in the Boondocks" always brings back VN to me. I had good buddies there, some of whom didn't come back. Thanks, MCM, for posting that link. I'm sending it to Lindy.

    Anyone remember the song, "Spooky"??? "Love is kinda crazy with a spooky little girl like you....." LOL, My hubs, then boyfriend, told me that was my song....still calls me Spooky at times.....or maybe was that song early 70's(???)
