BWKM, I have no idea what was going on. I restarted and can now log on! TDKers, the news is not good. I lost the little white kitten sometime this morning. It was gone when I got home for lunch. The tabby was weak but was holding on. It is barely alive this evening. I put fresh towel in the box and cuddled it. Poor thing is fighting for each breath. I can not bear to watch it. This is so hard. Things are pretty sad around here. I can't bear to go and look in the box. The last check I thought the sweet little one was gone so I touched it and it mewed. I wish it would let go and cross the bridge.

I meant to post this on the update thread but put it on BWKM's. The last of the sweet ones has gone over the bridge. Tabby was so sweet. It just did not have the strength to survive. I hope they knew that they were loved and cared for. It's pretty sad around here. I was hoping that I would be able to have a better outcome. There are 4 more babies with those who were waiting for them. Chester...take good care of them, they were only 4 days old.

Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm pretty sad but know that I did my best. I just wish I could have saved at least one. To add to my stress, Ms. Kitty has moved her baby! I looked all over the yard and can't find it. She is such a wonderful kitty mama that I know that she has hidden the baby some where. Hopefully she will bring it back this evening or tomorrow morning. This little one is almost 4 weeks old. I imagine it was exploring and she followed. No sign next door and (thank goodness) nothing in the street. I am probably obsessing because I have lost 4 in 3 days. I'm sure that there is no reason to be concerned!
