Happy Caturday all! Looks like we need to wake up the agency kittehs! They are all curled up in kitty beds and on the chairs! Opening windows to let in fresh air. Feed and water the kittehs. Set up the buffet. Today we have make your own omelets, bacon, and fresh fruit! Hot fresh coffee/tea/cocoa as we as juices and milk. Come on in and get some yummy cheesey omelets and visit! Morning MC and NNGM and anyone who's typing right now :) How is everybody? MC, I hope your tummy has settled down.
Well, after my bonkers day at work yesterday I came home to a nice dinner, had a glass of wine while we watched the Yankees game (don't tell hubby, I'm really a Red Sox fan!), and then slept like a log. Woke up when George nipped me on the arm, looking for breakfast (silly cat, you're an hour early), did my weights and went to the gym. Hubby's on his way home from tennis, and we'll probably do the Saturday NY Times crossword before lunch.

I don't feel nauseated today or am having a barf-o-rama day! I do have a killer headache today! YUCK! Wilma woke me up practically screaming. She had "caught" a stuffed mouse and had dropped it on my pillow! She was looking for some luvin' for catching that mousey.

Good morning, all! Sorry about your headache, MC, but glad you're not throwing up!
I've been at work for a couple of hours and have listed a couple of things to hopefully sell on E-bay. I've never done E-Bay before, so I'm interested to see how it goes. The gym is slow today and I'm looking forward to getting out of here at one to meet my friend at Panera.
I've got to go to the post office and maybe to the new tennis club as well to sign the roster for the tennis team for next season. It has to be in by the 1st, so it's about time!
I'm hungry and I've already eaten my yogurt - can I have a nice cheesy omelette, please? -

The Saturday crossword is evil and hard this week, argh! I've got about half of it, but my brain is shorting out, so I decided to walk away from it for a while, sometimes that helps. Naps also help, but I think it's too early for that.

Crazy morning. It seems to be crazier on the weekends for some reason. Breakfast, showers, getting dressed, dishes and vacuuming are all done. Abbie is taking a nap and Maddie is watching Blue's Clues. whew...Wayne went to go study at the library for a few hours then I have to go do errands...at least I get a break from the kiddies for a bit.

I'm back for a minute (Hi CM!), got a bit more on the crossword, gah, this one is a killer. Saturday is supposed to be the hardest one of the week, but sometimes they're not hard at all. Not this week, though.
Speaking of cheesy omelets, looks like that's what we're doing for lunch, yum! Cheese plus a whole bunch of veggies I had left over from taking salads to work most of the week. Right now I need to go jump in the shower though, I'm rather, um, "ripe" from going to the gym :)

Good Morning MC, NNGM, Kilroy, GD, and CM.
THat 60's thread sure started something in this house!! I am always playing the Beatles--next to Barney it was the only thing that seemed to sooth my daughter even before she was born. She seemed to prefer Fool On a Hill to anything. I have pulled out Donovan and Jefferson Airplane. Daughter gave Deuter nip in his tunnel and he is really enjoying the music and playing with his green mouse--favorite toy. Sherlock the pup seems to prefer White Rabbit--as long as that song is playing he sits in front of the speakers and just listens. My furry friends are a trip this morning!! They certainly have made me laugh....

Hi, sweeties! Shoot me a cup of straight coffee, please, and a virtual plate of biscuits. I weighed myself and in the past four months I've lost 28 pounds, so although I can only have one biscuit with a tiny pat of butter, all the agency kittehs can be petted with no caloric problems.
Sorry about your headache, MC. You are always in my prayers.
The weather here is gorgeous today. Sweet cool breezes, birdsong floating through the air, and the sun is pouring down like honey outside my window!

SM, that is so funny that your animals are on a trip this morning! They are helping you to reminesce (SP??). Emma, con-cats on the weight loss! You deserve one biscuit! Enjoy! We are expecting severe storms here today so I might be in the basement with the girls if that happens!

Doing okay Emma. I get my surgery date next Tuesday. Hubby is leaving Monday. Retired from the military and thought he would be home--thought wrong. I have to admit I am so very thankful he is staying in this country this time. He is a bit upset, I finally get into the surgeon and he isn't here.
Emma and GD you both should feel great about what you have accomplished!

Oh wow. I stopped by a little local restaurant to pick up some lunch to bring to work. They have an item which I love; it is individual leaves of romaine lettuce and then their chicken salad; you eat the salad on the lettuce leaves instead of bread. They have curry chicken salad and asian chicken salad. I always get the curry because I love it, but today they gave me a bit of each so I could try both. I was just tasting the asian salad and there were some little round crunchy things in it, so I tried one. Apparently it is a wasabi crunchy thing! Now my mouth is on fire, my nose is running, and I am gulping down iced tea. Beware the round wasabi crunchy things!

Hi everyone!! in and out today. Just came in from outside with Maddie for lunch. Fed Abbie some peas for the first time and she likes them :)
I have to tell you..last night, I was up in Abbie's room getting her dressed for bed and Maddie came upstairs from being outside with Wayne and she said. "Mommy, Mommy, I have flowers for you" She gave me 2 little clover flowers :) My first flowers from her :) My heart melted. I said Thank you and she said, "your welcome mommy. Maddie flowers to mommy"

I think I'm OK now. My lips are still tingling though. My body doesn't handle extremely spicy food well - I immediately start turning red, sweating, etc. It is too bad because I really do like the taste of things like cajun. Well, I will finish up here at work and then go for a nice long walk. It is a beautiful day here in Michigan.
