Good morning, everyone, the cafe is subdued today as we think about Terri, whom we've so recently lost, and her husband, John, to whom we send our love and strength. The kitties have been snuggling and talking together and have just announced they want us to send Sox's Mom all their love for her surgery today, so we will add it to our own love and wrap her up in it like a big warm quilt. All kinds of food and hot and cold drinks are available as we remember the lovely spreads Terri laid out for us in John's Cafe. Come on in and chat.

hi jcat. Thanks for opening the cafe. I have been busy with the girls this morning since they got up at 6:30!
I am sending SM many prayers, hugs and strength today and to John who needs our love and strength more than ever.

Good evening Jcat(6 minutes until morning). Just a brief stop in for me, I'll have a hot chocolate with a dash of what warms me in it, and a wee ginger kitty to cuddle with and keep me warm. It's cold here tonight after a cold windy day.

MS, I was indeed passed over in the Queen's Birthday Honours list again, they are obviously not inclined to recognise our very special skills (what are they again?)
I had an embarrassing day, it was so cold, I pulled a jersey over my PJs and a dressing gown over that and decided to stay snuggled up like that all day -- typical that this should be the day a friend from Wellington and her new boyfriend should come to call. I looked a picture! (we won't even go into what the house looked like...)

ROTFL Jcat. I can guarantee if I did that the same thing would happen too. Murphy's Law can be a s**t at times. Ummmm, I'm not sure how you would class our special skills but that could be why we keep getting passed over.

I know, MS, what are the chances that on the coldest day of the year, with snow warnings on the roads and the police warning motorists not to travel if they don't have to, that this adventurous pair should decide to cross the Rimutakas and do a quick Tikky-tour of the provinces? They were going on to Palmerston North to do a circuit back down the Kapiti Coast -- I hope they are home by now!

... good morning all!......Monday - yuck!.... that means cleaning and tackling a mound of paper work!..... Daugher is graduated, and gone to orientation for summer quarter in college, which starts in 3 weeks...... I guess Hubbs and I really ARE empty-nesters now! :(
