I wish I knew why Terri popped into my head on Saturday afternoon. *shakes head* I really miss my TDK buddies on the weekends and my days off.
Last week, our oven finally officially bit the dust. Even the stove top didn't work. Sooo, that item moved to the top of the list and we now have a brand new one. Nothing fancy, but it works! On the old oven, the oven part haden't worked for quite some time, but I got used to stovetop, microwave, toaster oven and grill. Now to remember how to bake. Ironically enough, in the latest batch of boxes hubby brought out of storage is my box of cookbooks. It's starting to come back to me...Posted 2 years ago by JoanfromNewJersey #

I would love some nice comforting hot chocolate this morning!
went to sleep around midnight and was up a few times with Bobsky. XBF woke me up at 7:25 with a text asking if I was awake. When I texted that now I was he texted back that he was on his way over to drop off my mail. Arrrgh! I jumped out of bed, brushed my teeth, threw up some pants, made my bed, straightened up and put Mi in the bathroom since he freaks when people come over. XBF then texted that he'd been awake for hours and I texted back that I hadn't been sleeping well and that mornings are better for sleeping since Bobby tends to be quieter. I guess that offended him in some way and he texted me back that I could call him later. So he didn't show up and I got up for nothing. Of course after all that, i couldn't get back to sleep. Arrrrrrgh! :(SM has my prayers and white light today. I think I'll to send her a get well card today.

The knee is better I'm actually walking with one crutch now! my armpitts are loving it! I have to call the orthopedist today to see if I can get an appointment because I need a note for work and I also what to see when he thinks I can go back to work... I don't think it will be soon! :(

Morning, everyone. {{{TDK}}} {{{extra for CM}}}
George scared the dickens out of me this weekend - he got out on the balcony TWICE! (dumb husband, leaving the door open, grrrrr). It was kind of windy yesterday and there were leaves blowing around on the balcony, so George was going nuts. As soon as he got a chance he scooted out the door and started chasing leaves. Hubby grabbed him and brought him inside, but half an hour later, same thing! Silly cat.
Joan, I'm glad you have a working oven again, and that Leela is good. We miss you too on the weekends.

Silly Georgie...he likes the leaves :)
I hate waking up when I don't have to GD..sleep is a valued commodity!Maddie does wear that shirt often and it was hanging up in her closet..maybe Terri is saying hi..I did get a decent nights sleep last night but I needed that so bad. Crying is exhausting!

You know, after I saw the kitty shirt and teared up, I thought about my mom. My father died when I was 7 and she was left by herself to do everything. We lived in Texas at the time and she even packed us up and moved back to Ohio. She had me and my brother(her stepson) to care for. I saw her cry a few times but she had to hold it together, work, move, care for us all the while missing my dad and grieving. I admired her for her courage today for the first time. When my mom died Maddie was only 5 1/2 months old so she didn't realize what was happening so this is the first situation where I am upset and crying and she is aware. Now I have to step up to the plate and still be mom, do laundry and breakfast, laugh at Maddie's jokes, take care of Abbie and all the household, all the while crying inside. Praise to the parents of this world who must soldier on when faced with strife.

Good Morning to my sad family today. CM, I hope that your day goes a wee bit better today. I agree that Terri is looking down on you and wanted you to know that so you put those clothes right where you would grab them. We had some really bad storms last night which drove the girls crazy and we didn't sleep much til around 3am. So we slept in a bit today. Nice day now but I sure have a headache today from the girls waking me up. Please send a nice hot chocolate my way and a bagel with cream cheese. Praying for Soxsmom today. Hi all... I have been gone a couple of days and wow..... I am so sorry for the loss of our fellow TDKer! (((HUGS))) to all of you... and I was feeling sorry for myself....I was in a car accident with my hubby and daughter on Saturday... and it could have been alot worse... I am still dealing but to come here and find out that Terri passed away is devestating.... CM big HUGS to you...
