Tonight we have a quiet subdued night shift. The buffet is loaded with any and every kind of dessert you would want. Full stocked bar of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. The agency kittehs are looking to comfort those who need comforting. They are stretched on kitty pillows and in kitty beds. Please come on in and just talk and share any memories you feel like sharing. We have extra tissues tonite for those who need them. We are so glad you stopped by and offer you a hug!

My biggest memories are always that Terri and John made the morning cafe(s) always so bright, with John's food choices, how could one not smile. Then the tales of Bogman, Clark, and little Andy and not the least getting Ginger, there were smiles, tears and just family stuff.

I can't believe it took me until today for the 2X4 to hit me over the head to realize who BCAM was and then I felt extra stupid! John and his breakfasts, yes I did know who they were! Gosh, I hope John is ok tonite!

Later this week I am heading down to one of the shelters to donate all of our blankets to the kittehs and goggies that need them. While I am there I am going to see what it will cost to sponsor a kitty at the shelter in Terri's name. I thought that might be a good way to honor her memory.

Hello, family. How's everyone holding up tonight?

Evening Bellantara, DM, AV, & GD :)
MC, it took me a minute too at first, then the memories flooded over me.
DM, I think that is a wonderful idea to sponsor a kitty in her name.

I rarely post in the NS, but I'm feeling so sad tonight and I wanted to pop in and stand a minute in the TDK love. I know we all face death eventually, but I just hate it when it seems to be too early. And I just feel so sad about the ones who are left behind.
I'll just stand quietly here for a moment before I go and fix dinner for my two and four foot family. And I'm giving them all an extra hug tonight because I can.

Hello everyone, DM, what a wonderful idea, please let us know what you find out about sponsoring a kitty in her name. She would like that very much.
I spoke with John tonight. He is doing as well as expected. He met with her mother and her sister, and the arrangements are made for her now. She has donated her organs, which I think you know, and will be cremated shortly. John will receive her ashes next week. In the meantime, the family will go to Minnesota to have a memorial BBQ in a park there, since her family is from there. John will be there as well, and spend some time with friends there also. He came on TDK today to see the posts, but after 4 of them, the tears were too great and he left. He knows that your well wishes are with him, but at this time can't read them all. He hopes you understand.
That is what I know for now and will keep you posted on anything else that he wants to say.

CBM, long time, no see. Give the hugs, life is short, live each day to the moment and good to see you.

Evening everyone :) About to go to bed, but wanted to say hi to all.
Lynn, thank you for updating us on John. He's going to Michigan though right :)
I am glad things are settled for Terri's final journey. Also good to know he will be around friends.Posted 2 years ago by cricketsmama #

Evening, Everyone. I can only imagine how hard it would be for John to read messages here right now. All in time, perhaps. Lynn, I am so glad that you spoke with him. I feel that he is rather alone now.

Yes, Cm, he will be joining the family in Minnesota for the time in the park. I don't know when he will return, but will let you know when I find out. Yes, Terri's final journey is now set and all is well with that. I am glad he will be with friends as well. He needs their comfort at this time.
Hope you have a better nights sleep and get some rest. Love to the girls and you and Wayne.

WWM, he is alone, but not alone. He says he feels her presence in the house and that gives him peace. I will keep in touch.

I know how that is. So many times I have had hospice families say that. And I felt it myself when I lost my grandmother and mother. It is so hard when so unexpected, though. You get in the car to go to work and......

I am a believer that when a loved one passes, they come to you, in one way or another. I, myself have had that experience. Some say it is wishful thinking. I like to think otherwise. Terri is with John, I have no doubt, by what he told me, and he has no doubt either. Whatever comforts you in your loss, believe whatever you see or feel, chances are, they are with you.
If any of you feel Terri's presence in your home, around your children, know that she is there with them, and as you as well. You will know.

AV, thank you and I thank you for John, so kind, it's been a very long couple of days. Peace and good thoughts to you as well. Good to see you again.

Beautiful thoughts, Lynn. And like you, I have seen enough to make me believe. When love is so deep, as it was between Terri and John, she will not leave him alone until he is ready.

hello, MS, good to see you as well. I know it's late where you are. I will continue to update as I know any new information. I know you all care for him as well. I will let him know you are all asking for him. Hope all is well in your neck of the woods and you are all doing fine.

WWM he already said as much. Without going into detail, you nailed that one! Terri would be so proud!

I think that they are much like Mr. WWM and me, Lynn. We are so close - his sister says too close. If something happens to one of us... well, we don't even try to think about that.

Yea, when you finish each other sentences and you look like twins and act like them, you know you found your match. I don't want to think about that either. Nice to know that there are others in the world who were like they were. Doesn't make you feel so weird, so to speak. Terri and I talked about that and how people couldn't understand the closeness that made them that way. I did.

I can certainly understand, Lynn. Some people throw the word "soul mate" (words, I guess) around freely. And then some of us are blessed to know what it really means.

I can't remember the last time that my TV was off for an entire night that I was home. The peaceful quiet and conversation with friends was enough to make me settle down tonight. ( although the cats can't quite figure out what's going on!) So I will leave for now and hope to see you tomorrow.
Til then, stay well, stay safe, and may the angels kiss you gently while you sleep.
Much love to all, Mama Lynn
