Hi, I am Ashton's Mom. He is 13-1/2 years and is a mostly grey medium fur. He is half Siamese and half who knows what. Up until a few weeks ago I also was Mom to Callie but she had been very sick (actually, had been sick a number of times in her life) and finally died in my arms at home. She was a tortoiseshell and was very tiny. She was also 13-1/2 but the cats were not siblings although they were born within days of each other. She and Ashton got along okay but since she has been gone he has really bloomed. Ashton is much more vocal and loving now (he is really showing the Siamese). He is also finally learning how to play because Callie always used to take over when I would try to play with him.
I love to do needlework and read and play computer games. I work part-time as a cashier in a grocery store and part-time as a medical transcriptionist. I live in Marshfield, WI, USA.

Welcome Peg! We are thrilled to have you. I send you condolences on the loss of Callie, it is always hard to lose a furbaby. I am glad you still have Ashton and he is blooming! You will find everyone here is really great! I am owned by Betty, Wilma and Molly. Actually Molly moved in with my mom in Indiana after my dad died. They are inseperable now so I can't take her back! Betty and Wilma live with me in Illinois, just north of the city of Chicago! Please visit our other threads and comment on any of them or feel free to start your own! We would love to see pix of your furbabies when you can!

AMA, you are in Wisconsin too? I hadn't realized that! I had talked with Katthays (also in Wisconsin) about meeting up sometime this summer for a nice lunch or dinner. Maybe you could come too?!

Hi Peg - welcome to TDK, the fluffiest site on the internet! I'm sorry you lost Callie; sounds like she had a great life. Ashton sounds a bit like my late kitty Shaddo. He was grey with some white and was half Siamese and half who knows what else too!

Welcome Peg! I had a Great Aunt who was called Peg (her full name was Margaret). I am sorry for the loss of Callie but am glad she died peacefully in your arms. I was blessed to have that experience with my first cat Whiskers. I would love to see pictures of your kitties. You can create a catster page for them. Sorry for your loss with Callie....I'm sure you made her life as wonderful as one can when there are constant health problems and she certainly knew that. Enjoy the new found vitality in Ashton.
