Thank you Bella. *shudders* 48 is just too young...
I guess you just don't know when the Lord is going to need another cat loving angel to help out around The Rainbow Bridge.

Thank you Bella! Wow, only 48. She was only three years older than I am. Really makes one think.

Buttercup had posted this also this morning. Bless her heart - she needs so much more than just a mention in the obituary section.

I'm really sad to read this, not just for the obvious, but because I am certain that there should be more words for our Terri.

TL - Terri's sister posted on the thread telling us about her death that there will be a memorial service for her in Michigan later, but I know what you mean - I thought the same when I saw the notice. She deserves so much more!

Thanks Karen, have been away for a while.
I just think, there are not enough words, and yet there are none on that page:(
I kept clicking on the link thinking there was something wrong with my computer

I thought the same thing. I went to the main Obituaries link and clicked on her name to see if I had missed something. I thought, "Is that all?" I don't know what this paper's obituary policy is, but some papers charge to publish anything other than a brief death announcement like this.
That's true, the policy to charge what they do just doesn't seem right. I was looking for my brother in laws obit in the Orlando paper and what I found was all most the same as Terri's, and when I told Richard that just a little while ago he was upset with it as well. I don't know if that was the way their mother planned it or what, but it wasn't enough.

I have been following the chat since Terri passed away. CM suggested donating in Terri's name at the location she found Ginger. I thought that would be a nice idea. I worked with Terri and all of us were/are in shock. I contacted the location Terri found Ginger. We are going to make a donation in Terri's name. I do not know if anyone else would like to do so. I have the information but do not know if it is allowed on the site. I will continue following the chat. If there is any interest in donating I will pass the information on. Thank you
CHERWOODT - Thank you for getting in touch with us - I am sure that a donation in Terri's name to the place she found Ginger is something we would be interested in. You can post the information here or you can start a new thread about it. It is nice to know that Terri worked with people that appreciated her love for her babies.

(((Cherwoodt))), my condolences to you and all of Terri's co workers.
Please post the information.
If you see John, please extend a TDK collective hug.

CherwoodT, my condolences as well to you and your co-workers. Terri talked about you often. You may be the person I talked with when we had our Ft. Lauderdale meet and phoned Terri so she could talk with each of us and be part of our day.

These are the lyrics to a Garth Brooks song called Pushing up Daisies
Sometimes I tell you the way that I feel
I swear that I'm going crazy
keep telling myself it ain't that big a deal
It's better than pushing up daisies
I felt the arrow from death's fatal quiver
Come so close it actually grazed me
I bled the blood and i felt the cold shiver
God only knows how He saved me
There's two dates in time
That they'll carve on your stone
And everyone knows what they mean
What's more important
Is the time that is known
In that little dash there in between
That little dash there in between
Sometimes my heart is as true as a dove
Sometimes my heart it betrays me
So i draw my sword for to fight for my love
But without a whisper she slays me
My mother died but somehow she keeps living
She'll never cease to amaze me
Now Dad turns his back on each day that he's given
Because he'd rather be pushing up daisies
There's two dates in time
That they'll carve on your stone
And everyone knows what they mean
What's more important
Is the time that is known
In that little dash there in between
That little dash there in between
Terri packed a lot into that little dash there in between
