  1. I yell "Mint sauce" whenever I walk past lambs in the countryside!

  2. Ooooh, Karin - meeting up with MCW would be great! Hope you can manage it!

SM, I'm sorry you're still not done with all this! I'll be praying for you!

I'd love a well-done cheeseburger (it's been TOO long!!) and both pasta and potato salad.

I'm STILL waiting to hear when we're having the darn office meeting tomorrow! We're trying to make it 9am so I can at least play my tennis at 10 and the morning girl doesn't have to leave and come back. Meanwhile I'm leaving my three tennis friends hanging as I don't know if we'll have to have the meeting at 10. Arrrgh!
I spoke to morning girl just now and she told me front desk manager girl is ready to quit. SHe can't take EBL any more. I knew it was only a matter of time! Both of them were complaining that EBL has been in a horrible mood, but fortunately I haven't seen any of it.

  7. I'm not really a fan of beef, but lamb Yummmmmmmm! (Sorry GD)

    Posted 2 years ago by Pollys_Mum_in_UK_2605 #

  8. It certainly is, CM!
As much as I don't want the middle shift which includes EBL around all day and being "manager" (no pay raise), I could use a few extra hours. I really really don't want extra hours in this nut house, but my bank is empty :(

  10. True carnivore--I love meat. I come from the Huddy's Mama school of food!

  11. Thanks for the reminder, must freezer dive to find tonight's dinner.

  12. The more bacon, the better???

Posted 2 years ago by KarenCentennial #

  13. I am not an ideological veggie, but I don't like the taste of a lot of meats. Not really into pork either, although I love bacon.

Perhaps I ought to be what my daughter refers to as a vegaquarian - no meat but loads of fish!

  14. I am a carnivore too..I love meat as well. I am a meat and potato sort of girl. As you can tell by my full figure

  15. It's turned midnight, I really have to go to bed. I have to get up again in 5 hours, so I will only get about 4 hours sleep by the time I get to bed.

  16. I adore fish! I would eat that every night--unfortunately the rest of my little clan hates fish. Okay my hubby tolerates it and actually likes salmon. I love a medium-rare to medium tuna! I don't likt it raw as much. I have been known to eat some sushi--but not too often.

  17. Brrrrrrrrr it's cold in the freezer. Tonight we are having Beef Olives, schnitzel stuffed and rolled around my homemade stuffing cooked in chicken stock in the oven. Mmmmmm
Check out this video of donuts, fried chicken and burgers. Also further down the page check out the cheese chasing in the UK. A Kiwi won the women's race this year.

  25. Richard just called me from Cocoa Beach - he was on the pier when the space shuttle on its piggy back ride from California flew right by - we grew up watching the old space missions - before the shuttle - so this was really something for him to see. His brother's service is Thursday and he will have a large group of old friends there with him, since I won't be there, I feel better that he won't be so alone. I spoke with my MIL this morning and she sounds so tired and sad - she is 83 and I know she was hoping her children would be burying her not the other way around. Again, I am glad that I have been able to spend time with all of you while he is gone.

  26. Hi everyone, just for a minute, I have to make dinner.
((SM))), sorry you need a repeat, but we want you to take good care of yourself.
I'll have a veggie burger (I know, I'm boring!), or my favorite, grilled tuna.

Posted 2 years ago by Tigerlilly #

  27. BTW, I don't know about you guys, but I am really depressed about Terri's obit....no words about what a special lady she was...:(

Posted 2 years ago by Tigerlilly #

  28. AV - I love the "etch a sketch brain", but my kids tell me I remember way too much! Of course I remember the things that Richard and my brothers and I would get away with, so they couldn't even get the chance to try the same stuff - I am not my mother and they can't fool me like we fooled our mothers.

  29. {{{TL}}} That is why we will be having our own memorial service here for her. I think John and her family were so stunned by how quickly she was gone, they just weren't prepared with words.

Posted 2 years ago by KarenCentennial #

  30. LOL Karen, I've always said that if my Will was HALF the kid I was, I'd be in deep s#$@t!!
