If I don't do the carpet then I get even worse. I am allergic to cats. My meds are pretty good, but only if I get out as much of the hair and dander as possible. I do pretty good with Deuter and he is that medium long hair. Teaser, my short hair is really full of dander. I can brush her and wipe her down, but she is in a constant state of shed! Since she insists on being next to me--although I am not allowed to touch her--I have to clean her hair. She will never be a lap cat, but she likes to be near people as long as you don't touch her. I would love to sleep but have to wait for the storm to blow over. Lissy is scared witless!

Haven't heard any thunder in about 10 minutes. The rain is letting up. Think it is safe to slink off to bed now. Lissy is out from under my feet and heading for her bed--guess that means it is safe to try and get some sleep. Silly goggie! Deuter slept though it all and is wide awake now!

Dara is on the back of the sofa behind me and I think Ringo has gone to bed with MrKK. The other night Ringo dropped something damp and stringy in the bed with me and I flicked it out, too afraid to look what it was. In the morning I discovered it was a tattered piece of heavy fabric. Goodness knows where he got it from but I am dreading when he brings something dead into the bed.

I have a feeling the birds will be skating on the bird bath in the morning. It's just a large 'saucer' from under a plant tub that sits on the grass but the birds love it. Shadz has learned that she isn't allowed to touch Mum's birds and she just sits and watches them bathe.
Thank you Deb, Mum went out with my SIL and daughter to see a film this evening and that helped her get through the initial sadness. She had been preparing for this for some time though.
I hate the headache you get with sinus infections.

Funny with Maddie's haircut, it's shorter than usual and I didn't mean to get it that short, but it looks cute on her and this way she can't put hair in her mouth..which she does..so that stops that for a while.
