  1. Hi DM,
I just found a website, acutally a friend of mine is doing this, go to couchsurfing.com There are people across the world that allow people to sleep at their homes when traveling. I was thinking that if you needed to spend the night on the road, you could check this out. I know, you must be careful when dealing with people online. Look at this great group of people online here! I feel certain that if you need a place to spend the night on the way and there are any TDKers around, you have a place. Just thinking about you today and your big adventure!

Some of these people kinda seem like they're mainly about partying. It might be a bit scary. They seem to have references to check out so....who knows. It could turn out to be a big help.

  3. Friends of mine here in Tupelo have a guy crashing on their couch. He is traveling from Florida to somewhere out west. Some of the folks on the website seem like they have taken advantage of the couch surfing in their travels and are now providing their couches for others to take advantage of. It seems like it could be an adventure!

  4. Hahahah! TinaFish....The difference in our ages means, to me it seems risky...to you it seems an adventure. I soooooo hate getting old and suspicious. =( No doubt....many wonderful people have met one another upon the road of life in this way and have made awesome friendships for life or perhaps just in passing through briefly. Either way....it certainly seems that travelers have many options now in affording their journeys along the way. =)
