Lynn, I wanted to tell you that when I was at Terri's house, she had a large picture of you and Kay hanging on the wall. She also proudly showed us an blanket that either you or Kay had made for her...I remember it was a material with cats on it. You obviously meant a lot to her.

Evening everyone. Just got both girls down and I am tired. Physically and emotionally.

Evening all, just a brief post as I have to take Mum for an opticians appointment.
As KK said yesterday Terri has Mitzi purring at her feet now, it's good to know that Mitzi will have someone to give her tummy rubs. There may be a bare patch on the lawn at Mum's now but we all know Mitzi will be well looked after by Terri.Posted 9 months ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

This is from a thread for Gem's birthday party last July. I saw it earlier and it gave me a smile. From Terri:
The boys have meowma and daddy up early to go to the party. Bog is dressed in kahki shorts with a blue t-shirt with fireworks on it. Clark is dressed in blue jeans shorts and a t-shirt with a copy the Declaration of Independence on it. Clark says that daddy says this applies to kitties too. Andy, the tail-less wonder, is dressed in red shorts and a blue t-shirt with a white ball cap (did he swipe this from daddy? he's not telling).
Bog carries a bowl of daddy's famous tuna ice cream. Clark carries a thermos of Arnold Palmers for the furless party goers (for those not from Florida that's 1/2 unsweet iced tea and 1/2 lemonade). Andy carries a bag with a change of clothes for him (he's still a baby and a bit clumsy).
Meowma says to come back through the worm hole to change into different clothes before the fireworks so that they don't get bit up by buggies.
Now, be good, listen to NNGM and remember to thank you hosts.
The boys rush up to Gem and give purrday head bonks. HAPPY PURRDAY, GEM!!!!
Clark sees "his" Cricket and give a gentle nuzzle and sandpaper kiss. Hi, he purrs.

Thank you Cw, that means so much to me and Kay, you just don't know. Kay made the blanket, the pic was all Terri. I thank you for the memory of what you saw and I shall treasure that you let me know. Much hugs and love to you.

It seems Arnold Palmers are catching on as of the couple of restaurants I have been to due to the regional meetings, I recall seeing it on the beverage menu. One of my coworkers ordered it. I will have one here in Terri's honor.
I received more sad news from my Dad. Another friend of the family has passed away. He passed on May 22nd which is one week after the family friend who passed on May 15th. I believe both men have been cremated. So I have a life celebration to go to on June 13th and then a funeral on June 20th. One was 73 and the other was 83. I will see people I haven't seen in years.
Life seems even more precious now. I go to hug my cats.

It's 11.10pm NZ time, ...the night is very chilly in NZ and cool to warm in USA ..... so time to close Night Shift and snuggle under the comforters, so here goes gratis AZDEBRA, LV , & Tigger from the beginning....good job everyone & bless you...
check - turns fountains off
check - sweep the floor (never know who has been tossing stuff around)
check - lights off and turns out neon "TDK Night-Shift" and "Poetry Jam" sign in window
check - night lights glowing gently, puts on cool jazz radio for ambiance and stragglers check - cat flaps swings creeeeeeeek (pulls out WD-40), check cat flaps again to ensure they swing quietly and effortlessly
check - doors closed, left just ajar so fuzzbutts don't come to us with complaints
check - dry kibble out as a midnight snack (so hopefully no 5 am breakfast wake-up call) and freshens litter-box. Puts away assorted fuzzy, squeaky cat-toys into Toy-Boxcheck - windows slightly open for Northern TDKers' spring and closed for Southern TDKers' autumn.
Goodnight to all our imaginary friends in TDK land, Goodnight Airy and Jim-man. White light,healing energy and prayer for all those in need. Be careful out there! Bless all those whom have left before us, please watch over us >^..^<

..... night MS, have a great night at work Deb.... getting ready to go play golf this morning , so am up early!.... trying to get 9 holes in before we "melt" in this 90+ degree weather (quickly ducks as MS throws a chunk of ice!)....... I keep forgetting you're opposite of us, winter and all!...
