Goodmorning TDKers, it's "Hug your Cat Day" today and today M2MC also gets her long awaited kitty Mystie.
We have foods of all sorts, hot and cold to suit everyone. Donuts of all flavours imaginable, bacon on toasted bagels with maple syrup, delicate fluffy omelettes, porridge, fresh fruit and youghut. We have lashings of coffee with whipped cream and chocolate or cinnamon for the top.
The agency kitties are all waiting for cuddles and tummy rubs. Come on in and make yourself at home.

MS, I thought you'd gone to bed, it's so cold here! I went to one of my nice neighbour's for dessert and my car windscreen (yep, it was too cold to walk round the block) froze up. The car was frosted all over by the time I came out!

Good morning family! It's my 32d wedding anniversary today. I was a teenage bride :-)
Four days after our wedding we got an orange boy kitten. All spiky fur and attitude. We named him Siddhartha, Sid or Sid-bud for short. He slept on my pillow the first night, purring in my ear. My husband worked graveyard shift at first.
I'll take a morel mushroom and feta omelette, with an orange boy kitten please :-) Orange kitten on the SIDE of course (lol)
Glad to be back on, even if only for a few minutes! Gotta do laundry, snuggle with Glenn, and get going on yardwork. Today's a day off, so I have to make the most of it!

Tee hee @ MS and the knife drawer! Thank you for the noms, MS, ooh, I forgot to get a little kitten. I think I will scoop up that little long-haired tortie and orangie sister and brother snoozing together in the corner for my lap. Now everything's perfect!

Deb, I'm going to try, by heading off to bed now, it's just too cold by the computer and I keep sneezing at the screen :(
I had an interesting day yesterday, in the morning I found I'd won a lovely big prize pack of fresh ground coffee and a big bag of chocolate-covered coffee beans (yum yum) and then I walked outside to find someone had stolen my front gate :( It was a pretty ramshackle gate but it kept the cats in -- just about.

Leela has taught me a new game, for her amusement, of course. She keeps batting her toys under the kitchen butcher block and also the couch upstairs. She cannot reach under there so I keep a yardstick both downstairs and upstairs to kick the stuff out. Then she has trained me to pick up one of the toys and play fetch with her, which I haven't played in a long time. I don't remember the boys ever playing, but Shaddo was a master at catching a ball thrown upward at him.

Owwww, Jcat! I had some giant alliums in my front yard, and the hooligans took two, broke one and -left it- in the yard, so my husband picked the last ones, took the one in the yard, and put them in a vase in the house.
Darn those kids! We have a bus stop in front of our house, and I'm ready to call and get the stop changed to a place without a nice garden in the front yard :-(
And...I'm yanking out those allium bulbs and setting them in the -back- yard, where it's all private (sniff sniff). I'm not thinking light and fluffy thoughts about those students (lol)
But I -am- thinking light and fluffy thoughts about going out to dinner tonight. There is a tapas bar in Kalamazoo that sounds intriguing. I checked out their menu and it looks like there's things that will be familiar, and others that aren't, but sound REALLY GOOD. (smacks lips)
Yup, I do like a little 'marmalade" (kitten) wif my breakfast. Matter of fact, I like orange marmalade on the toast I'm having on the side with my virtual omelette (yum).
jcat, sleep well my friend.....damn the luck about the theft of the front gate, why do people do that, sigh....congrats on winning coffee and coffee beans.
