My Cat must have poked her eye or something but she won't open it and it is really watery, what should I do?

I would call the vet ASAP. You might need to take her in... It might be nothing, but it could also be serious... Good luck!

I would wait a day--if it doesn't improve then go to the vet. Cat's eyes are very resilient, they have a think coating over the iris to protect from injury. If the discharge is yellow, then bring her in, that means an infection.

Will kitty let you peel open the eye to look? If you see damage, you know to quickly get to the vet. If not you can use the same soothing tear replacement drops you use for yourself.
