  1. Sophie and Molly join paws and return to photos. They stand for a moment and purr loudly. Molly gives the photos a kiss and then gives Sophie a kiss of good measure. They have a lovely blue balloon with a special message to Terri to watch over their fur sister Tessie who went to the bridge in December. They release it and then scamper to worm hole to return to Meowmy.

  2. Betty runs over and gives Mi a little hug. Wilma says 'goodnite' to Fred and gives him her email and they grab paws with Lydia and wave goodbye to their friends old and new. They find the opening to the worm hole to scooch back home to meowmy!

  3. Bobby and Mi say goodbye to their friends and go to the worm hole to get home in time for Mama to come home from work.

  4. Grommet and MacKenzie once more gaze in awe at the loving memorial tribute the TDK kitties have created here today for our beloved Terri and Andy. They are overwhelmed with emotion, hoping they have gained some small understanding of 'eternity' and the peace of crossing the Rainbow Bridge. They both say a silent kitty prayer for Auntie Terri and precious Andy, then they quietly head back thru the wormhole to the comfort of their Kittymom.

    Rest in Peace, Terri

  5. Rotley and Ruggles walk arm in arm with their darling Windi and Willow, and they clutch the beautiful balloons. There are roses tied to the ribbons which secure the balloons, along with messages to Terri, to Andy, to Cindy and Sharon. These are ballast for each bright balloon.

The balloons tug at their ribbons, and the kits release them into the soft spring sunset as the evening wind rises. Windi leans against Willow, and Rotley holds Ruggles as the balloons and roses move higher in the air, drifting across the meadow and rising into the wisps of cloud.

Then, the balloons break free, lit by the glow of the passing sun, bobbing and whirling higher, ever higher, fluttering against the burning sky.

"Good bye, Mama Terry," the kits whisper, and turn their eyes toward home. The sun drops below the edge of the earth, and darkness is coming on.

They know Emma will have supper for them, and cuddle blankets. The candles will all be glowing in the windows as they cross the field, and they know that she will read them stories as the night comes on. She will hold them and give them each a kiss, and they will sleep until morning light.

And the balloons move through the late spring sky, like lost hearts hurrying toward Heaven.

  6. Fred and Cricket go back to the roller rink. All is quiet now. They had fun with their friends but still feel sad. They turn off the lights and now the only light lit is one on the pictures of Terri and Andy.
Fred and Cricket whisper "Good night Auntie Terri, purrs, headbonks and sandpaper kisses."

  7. Windi looks at Willow, and as her lip quivers asks, "Willow, why is it that such good people must leave so soon?" Willow takes out a hankie and wipes her sister's tears. "Windi, I think that God needed some really good angels to look after all of the rest of us. And he choose our Aunt Terri and our friend Andy. Now, whenever you look into the sky, and you see a bright, bright star - you will know that it is Aunt Terri and her little Nilla Bean."

Willow and Windi link paws with Ruggles and Rotley. They all spend quiet moments gazing into the night sky. Then, as if one, they raise their paws in a silent kiss towards the heavens. And, knowing that guardian angels watch over them, they begin the trip towards home.

Windi takes one last look behind and quietly says, "Aunt Terri, Aunt Sharon and Aunt Cindy - we will never forget you." She turns and joins the others but knows that those who have gone are in a very special place.

Willow looks at Windi, Ruggles and Rotley and asks, "Did you just feel a sandpaper kiss?????"
