I think this young woman is an excellent candidate for medical school! :)

  2. What a marvelous student! I taught an advanced biology class for many years during which I had the students run physicals on themselves, BP, urinalysis, etc. Ran across many cases of some sort of problems, but one in particular stands out. The results of her urinalysis showed an exceptionally high amount of protein in her urine. We retested several times, with the result the same. I called her mom, suggested she see a doctor. As she was seemingly in good health, her mom was hesitant to do so. I got a little insistent, I'm afraid. Anyway, my student had a kidney replacement two years ago, after several years of dialysis. To my pride, she is just now finishing up medical school.
