  2. Said it before, I'll say it again: Lisa, you are a blessing to cats and people alike! So glad to hear about sweet Madonna; it was last night when I first saw the thread, and I was sick with dread as I read the posts. I am SOOOOO glad Lady Madonna finally got rescued!

    Please tell me who I can e-mail about this to help get the idea in an Austinian mind that cats need to be rescued stat.

  3. Lisa, you can contact StatesmanWatch, though I have no idea about how backlogged they might be: contact Mark Lisheron, mlisheron@statesman.com (I'm not acquainted with him, though).

    The other people I know at the Statesman, well, I don't think they're in the right department, but I could contact them and see what they'd suggest.

  4. Miss Madonna! I really don't know how I missed this thread but I am telling you to BEHAVE for your meowmy! How scary to have her up there like that! I can't believe the nerve of the community to think cats aren't "worth it"! That says a lot about the community! I am so sorry it took so long for the firemen to get there. Send the young one my way please! LOL
