I need you all now; people are picking on me on Facebook just because I gave my opinions based on fact. Have all the racist white people joined Facebook just to pick on innocent people who answer polls?

Haven't a clue Vicki, I haven't joined Facebook because I have too much to check now. My kids are on it but think it suits them more these days. Sorry you are having a hard time with annoying people on there.

Don't actually belong to Facebook, but I know a lot of people that are. I have never found them to be racist white people. Are they racist because they disagree with you? Anyone who uses a bullying method to discuss their views is normally not worth having a discussion with.

vicki dear, i mentione don here ina previous post ( i forget where it is now) why i hate facebook n other similar places. they r filled with nuts and freak people. i have had some nasty dealings with ppl form those places......anyway, stay herw with us...we dont care what colour ur u r the ebst to us. screw those oddjobs :)

Hi Vicki, I am not much of a fan of facebook. Too many applications. BUT I do keep up or try to with my TDKers on there. I do however like multiply, maybe because it isn't so 'out there' and is much easier you use. {{Vickie}}

That is an old saying of my Grandmother's. The sentiment applies to cyber social networks as well. Even TDK has its clicking on occasion or the transient troll. There is only one way to have perfect accord with the universe and that is to have a universe of one. Hermits pretty much have no conflict until a bear wants to take possession of their hilltop caves.I do not know what the circumstances of your bad experience with facebook were. But you must be willing to draw fire if you express strong opinions.
If you were truly wronged by some, I am sorry. If you are simply upset that you were not very politely disagreed with by some, I must say your opening of your grievance here was equally questionalble. "Have all the racist white people joined Facebook just to pick on innocent people who answer polls?" as a flat statement is intemperant. I know you felt the flames that singed you made you feel that were true, but you need to step back and gain some perspective.
Build your circles slowly and carefully on the internet. Not all out there are presenting their true selves. Some are dangerous, some are scared, some are entertaining, some are serious.... the list goes on.

I'm sorry to hear you had to butt heads with whatever rudeness you incurred while on Facebook Vicki. Rudeness is painful in any modem of communication. In this day and age I do not find it surprising and I too limit my association on Facebook to close friends and family. Thank God though that in America we are still allowed the freedom of speech....what is spoken on the other hand is and always has been subject to rage, pain, fear, ignorance and desperation. With people who are rude and ignorant.....little said can change their twisted interpretations in life and there's little sense in attempting it. (((Vicki)))

I'm sorry you got flamed, Vicki. It is hard to have meaningful discussions on topics that people feel strongly opinionated about in an online setting. They often devolve into personal attacks and hurt feelings. I decided to only let friends see my facebook information and I don't participate in applications or polls. {{{hugs}}}
