Bridget was finally captured at around 6 pm this evening. My brother-in-law, her former owner, went over and called her. Exact same result at first--she meowed and then ran and hid. He finally got tired of this and decided to just sit down quietly and call her. "Come here, Bridget." She hesitated for a bit but then finally walked right to him, and he picked her up.
Thank you so much for the prayers and white light! She is back in the house now, and the cat door to the 2nd story deck has been blocked. It is truly a miracle that she made it with all of the predators in the woods back there.
