Hey, everyone, my father and one of his cats are in need of purrs, prayers and white light tonight.
My dad's orange boy, Furrball, has been sick for awhile but has declined significantly over the weekend. He's not eating -- he just drinks a little water and lies around.
My dad will take him to the vet tomorrow (Monday), and I strongly suspect the cat will be put down.
This cat is the last of a trio of brothers who adopted us back in 1993 or 1994. I'm not sure how old they were at the time, but they were probably a year or less. He's been an outside cat his whole life, because he doesn't get along with my dad's two torties.
My dad, who is almost 70, lives alone with the cats, and he's taking the likely loss of Furrball hard.
Please say a prayer for my dad, and send purrs and prayers and white light to help Furrball on his journey to the Rainbow Bridge. Thanks.
