  1. I usually keep my bedroom windows open at night so the house can cool down at night. At about 11:15pm tonight (Sunday June 7th) I was walking into my room and noticed that a window looking out into the busy corner front yard, the screen was popped out and Pumpkin was nowhere to be found. I flipped out.

Before I could say another word, my boyfriend was out the front door, pulled back muscle and all. About 2 minutes later, I hear him coming through the front door saying, "I got her honey!" That's when I burst into happy, overwhelmed tears that my baby was safe. He told me that she was trying to get back into the house through another window on the opposite side of the house, as if she was trying to break back in.

Thank goodness that she is safe and did not run away like we thought she would. She must have a special place in her heart for us somewhere! Lesson learned: never leave your windows open & if you do have the screens reinforced!
Now if I can get to sleep after the adventure!

  3. I'm so pleased the wee escapee was found. What a wee darling, trying to get back inside. She knows where the food and love in located.

  4. She's a wee cat burglar, lol, sorry... She didn't really want to leave you, she was just curious as to what was on the other side. Once she found out, she quickly decided home and her kittymum and dad were much more fun, bless her! Think the boyfriend might be a keeper as well, ;-)
