  1. Hi - I'm Starkitten. I have been coming to The Daily Kitten for a long time to see all these kitten photos. This is the first time I'm posting here. I just love The Daily Kitten and love most animals but felines are my absolute favorites.

We have a wonderful group of people here who, like you are all animal lovers, but we love kitties and cats the most! Do you have a cat(s)? I am owned by Molly, Betty and Wilma. Please come back often and read posts or post yourself. We are pretty busy here during the week, the weekend is kinda slow. Hope you enjoy yourself!

  3. Hi Starkitten and welcome to TDK! We are big animal lovers here, especially our kitties. I have 2 tuxies, Fred and Cricket as you can see in my avatar. Please stop by the Cafe during the day and the night shift at night to chat..that's the busiest places during the day and night :)

  5. Hi! No - unfortunately I do not have any cats. I have a bird though. I would love to have a cat but I do not live alone and although my family loves cats as well, they would not like one at home.

    This is indeed the fluffiest place on the net! It's just purrfect!

  10. The cafe is a thread where we all "chat" during the day...different topics, fun stuff..nothing in particular...The thread usually has the word cafe in it somewhere :) everyday a new Cafe thread is started

  13. Hi Starkitten. To change your avatar.
    View your profile in TDK
    At "add or change" your avatar, click on it.
    It takes you to 'Gravatar' where you join and you must use
    your email address that you used to join TDK.
    It will walk you through the steps to retrieve any photo
    you wish from your computer. Once you do this it takes about
    10 mins before you actually see the new avatar so don't be
    discouraged. To speed up the process once you have set your
    new avatar, press the F5 key to refresh.
