  1. I like Starbucks Mocha java chip too GD! Also any flavor of sorbet or gelato (within reason) such as mango, guava, peach, papaya, lemon, pear, blackberry, raspberry, etc.

  7. I step away for 1 hour, and the posts double. Oh, yeah, green tea gelato (also technically not ice cream) is a bit odd for me; tasty, but odd. Maybe it's the foofy factor.

  11. Pistachio, pralines and cream, coffee mocha, mango and raspberry sorbets.

And then in New Orleans you have "snoballs" - shaved ice drizzled with any flavor or combo of syrup you can imagine - and I do mean any flavor... My daughter combines root beer and cream soda to get a root beer float flavor - I like chocolate and butterrum to have a "Heath Bar" flavor...

  12. In NZ we have Hokey Pokey ice cream and it's delicious. When I was able to eat ice cream I loved a honey and fig ice cream, mmmmmmmm figs.
    Hokey Pokey

    Ingredients

    5 tablespoons White Sugar
    2 tablespoons Corn Syrup
    1 teaspoon baking soda

    Method

Put sugar and golden syrup into a saucepan. Heat gently, stirring constantly until sugar dissolves. Increase the heat and bring to the boil. Boil for two minutes. Stir occasionally, if necessary, to prevent burning. Remove from heat. Add baking soda. Stir quickly until mixture froths up. Pour into a buttered tin immediately. Leave until cold and hard. Break into pieces.

  19. GD, bad news...Starbucks is discontinuing Mocha Java Chip. Waaahhhh! First Haagen Daas discontinues their mocha chip and now Starbucks! Waaaahhhh!! Starbucks new flavors are after their cold drinks - carmel macchiato, mocha frappuccino, java chip frappaccino (I want to try this one if I can find it somewhere), and coffee.

Haagen daas came out with java chip and it doesn't even have real coffee in it. They use brown sugar and other ingredients to make it taste like coffee. Yuck..pfffffth!

  20. Emma watch out!! Deuter heard that and is trying to worm his way through the wormhole! He loves butter pecan--not the nut but the ice cream.

Considering her reputation I am surprised she did not report this as her favorite:
