   The doors are open--the flowers are particularly beautiful this evening and very fragrant! The grills have been lit and it is kabob night!! You skewers are ready to be loades. There is every imaginable meat, fowl, sea food, and vegetables. You load it the chef will grill it!! The fountains are bubbling with a wealth of beverages both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.

   Today I took the girls--Lissy the Dachshund, and Kasey Countessa of Curry County--to the groomer. They are very beautiful and enjoyed a day of goggie daycare! Sherlock, the Keeper of the Kittehs went to the vet today for puppy shots. Teaser and Deuter have just been amused! Daughter and I had our hair done too. So it was a day of beauty all the way around!!

   So pull up a chair and provide a lap for a kitteh or two and share your day...

   I said the same thing to daughter, and she said no point. They aren't allowed to have open toed shoes. So she just did her own and is calling it good. I will probably wait until she is closer to coming home--hubby is taking me for a short weekend get away when she is back to Ruidoso. He wants someone to stay with the kittehs and goggies! I won a weekend on a golf course--have never golfed a day in my life--guess I will now!

    How is she doing with Pumpkin? Hubby just brought home dinner, so I best go and eat. He picked up grilled chicken from KFC. Personally I like my chicken, but hubby wanted to try the new grilled stuff. See you all after dinner.

    Pumpkin & Nilla were fast friends. Now they both chase each other around the house, require no supervision from their humans, and Pumpkin even fake falls when Nilla plays with her. It's too cute!

    Good evening all. Still at the office. Bit of a rough day today -- test in my algebra class this morning, money troubles, a mess left by a former co-worker (I'll be straightening that out for some time), and my dad's cat had to be put down.

    Today it is wet,windy and cold with possible heavy rain and thunder storms. I took my brother and SIL to the airport and when I went to leave the exit ticket machine swallowed my pass card and wouldn't let me out. I had to run through the rain, find security and he let me out. I was soaking. Shadz still hasn't bothered to get out of my bed, I've been out for 4.5 hours. It's wet and she sees no point in getting up when she can't hunt mice. What a life!

    Good evening, all! I'm tired after a long, long day, but I have an hour and a half to go. I have to come up with a play schedule for the 8-9 on my two summer teams tonight, so that's what I'll be workingon since I'm sitting here anyway. DOn't feel like it and don't know if the brain will cooperate sufficiently!
