It was Ann's birthday yesterday! Happy Purrday Ann, and many many more of them! I hope dinner with Glenn was wonderful and I hope each year just keeps getting better and better :)

Wow, thanks everybody! I can't say as I like getting older, but as far as I know, it beats the heck out of the alternative!
I have to say... I think tiramisu beats the heck out of birthday cake for dessert. Maybe it'll become my new tradition; tiramisu on my birthday instead of cake. Woo hoo!

Job's going fine, but I've injured myself on the job twice now. Physical therapy tomorrow morning, doctor's visit the day after... we'll see if I'm good for a return to full duty sometime soon. It's physically demanding, but it's been good for me so far. I've lost about 25 lbs. so far, and my current pair of jeans is about to fall off of me.
(I cannot WAIT to get rid of clothing that's too big, rather than too small!)
Of course, next time it's pouring rain, ungodly hot, or bonechillingly cold, think of your postal carrier... they're out there in that sort of thing.
