MC, it was absolutely delish. I actually used AV's suggestion of braising the veg which I layered between the smoked fish with a white sauce like a lasagna then topped with mashed potato and topped with Romano cheese. Hubby took the leftover for lunch the next day.

We use a fish called Kahawai, not great flavour but wonderful smoked. It must be bled as soon has you have caught it or the flavour is nasty.

I have become BFF with the "cardiac express" people.... they love that fact that I can reach the top shelf and hand them whatever they need, and they always insist that I "go in front" of them because I move at warp speed, and am finished checking out before they can even find their wallet! LOL

That is for sure AV! I will be up at sparrow fart tomorrow to do just that! The Kroger ad had some good stuff in it and hopefully I will get to it before the cardiac express!

Awwww, a rasta hat for Bobby! He'd look awesome in that and his speedo! And yes, I did see him pack a pink speedo for his trip!
Hmmmmm.... one of the interns is still here looking as if she's sticking around. Noone's told me anything but I'm worried that I'm supposed to show her how to close so she can take over. Arrrrgh! EBL promised yesterday that my job was safe, but I don't trust her. She had told me there was going to be some changes, but I figured that was the intern working for the morning girl. She mentioned that I was valuable because I'm flexible in when I can work (and I'm really not) - I hope this doesn't mean she's taking me off the night shift!

...breaks my heart to have to leave her, but international cat travel is VERY difficult!...... she knows I'm packing, but until the "day" comes, she hasn't figured out whether she's going or not!.... poor baby, she will be VERY upset!... luckily, I have a great cat-sitter, a friend of daughters, who I know well and love, and is an animal lover herself!... she has promised to spend "kitty" time each day with each cat!....

... she is brave GD!... but Cuddles has "known" her for years, as she regularly spends the night with us because she and daughter have been BFF for years!.... she'll do fine!...
... and be sure to look for Bobby in his "ratsa" hat on the beach, I'll take lots of pics!.....
