Good morning TDKers. The Cafe is open for business. Buffet cabinets all full to overflowing with goodies to please everyone. There's hot tea and coffee, cold juice and sodas.
Agency kitties are all freshly bathed and ready to snuggle into willing arms or chase balls and nippy mice.
AZDEBRA sends her love, she is puterless at home for a wee while but will check up on us when at w**k.

.... LOL at MS gardening in scuba gear.... which reminds me - yesturday, I was at our local "sports" store buying goggles, snorkel gear and beach clothing. I found these really "cool" sun shirts that promise 50 SPF protection from the sun. At my age, I do NOT need to EVER get anymore sun on my body (I'm very fair), so I need all the protection I can get. Hubbs laughs at me cause usually I "hide" under an umbrella, but I said to myself, "self, I do NOT want to miss all the fun" this vaca! So, this vaca, MOM will be swimming, snorkeling and diving in her new "body glove" (that's the brand name) swim gear!
... yes, yes, I will take LOTS of pics... it will be hilarious!

One mochachino with 2 marshmallows and a chocolate fish coming up. Ohhh, have you been to the Chocolate Fish cafe in scorching Bay in Welly, the LOTR cast used to go there often. Great place.

AV, don't sniff, it's great without them really. They'll still ring you and email you and it will feel like they haven't left at all. It's just another phase of your life, remember it BK(before kids)? It's like that except you're older and possibly slower.

Hey peeps and kits! I'm BATCHING it this weekend, the spouse is taking the business on the road to an SCA event south of Cleveland. I'm going to be sewing shirts and pants for him, and hopefully making up an outfit for myself. We went to the fabric store last night for interfacing and fabric for cat toys :-) and he found stuff for an additional shirt and pair of pants. I hadn't counted on making him three shirts and two pair of pants, plus an outfit for me (all this weekend), so we'll see how far I get.
I'm planning on trying the other Indian restaurant in town, too (yum yum).

AV, I'm very fair skinned too. I always have to wear a hat, and when we're on the beach hubby and I are like a couple of sun dials, rotating so we are always under the umbrella, with anything exposed covered by a beach towel.

I am going on vacation starting this Sunday...yay!! Going to see my grandchildren in Michigan (and son and daughter-in-law). I heard from a friend tonight who just got back from Italy... whereas here it's rainy and depressing -- not too cold, I must admit but dark and dreary and every room in the house needs cleaning ...

Jcat, have you been peeking through my screen at my rooms. There is wee bits of firewood around the front of the fireplace and it doesn't matter how often I clear them away they just seems to reappear. i have a basket of wet washing I refuse to put in the dryer but it's going on the good old wooden clothes horse to dry by the fire.

MS, I sure have, I found out that if I peek at my screen from the side, I can see right through to your house. You are looking very fetching at the moment, I must add, and I love your slippers!

Siobhan, I never was good at sewing....did some in high school....actually I even HATE to sew on a button or to hem something! But I love doing needlework...crewel and cross-stitch!
