I was blessed to find a Littermaid PLUS at a yard sale for $10! As soon as I set it up, Tibby used it! But ten minutes later when the LOUD motor ran and the litter rake scooped, I thought Wolfie would have a stroke...he watched fearfully and then slowly approached to tap it with his paw to see if it would make the scary noise again. My bedroom is upstairs and I sleep with the door closed, so hopefully this won't wake me up at night.

LitterMaid Plus!

HI CW, I have a used littermaid that my cats use. It is loud but I sleep through it now. It did take some getting used to for me but my cats don't have a problem with it all. Good luck and hopefully Wolfie will come around.

I have a littermaid LM900 and find the motor is a bit loud but have sort of gotten use to it. My first littermaid was a LM920 which has a quieter motor. I went through two of those because I kept washing and getting the motor area wet (sheesh you think I would have learned with the first one). Well last week I was able to find a used LM920 for $20 which I snapped up. I now have two automated littermaids which will come in handy when I have to go for my company's national conference held in Las Vegas in August this year. They have extended it to a whole week this year (last year was three full days).
