I have my granddaughter today....am taking her swimming in a bit and we will go on 'nature' walks :)))

Sounds great Jean. I would love to walk to work, but, well, I'm in Jersey, the most densly populated state in the nation... lol. I think I spend more time saying bye for the day to my kitty Leela than my hubby!

Monday already? Boo. I had a pretty good weekend. On Friday I did end up getting the cheap student tickets to Coraline and it was really fun. We went out to dinner at a place with outside seating and I got a sandwich and Mike got a salad. We walked around and explored a little too. Saturday we went to CT to visit his parents and went to a strawberry festival that had great strawberry shortcakes. Sunday was pretty uneventful but we had to deal with a sick Taco because his parents accidentally left a loaf of bread out and Taco ate 8 full slices of bread. His poor little tummy was not happy after that and he had horrible diarrhea all day. Today Taco is feeling better and I'm at school. It is midterms week this week (already? summer classes go so fast..)

Morning everyone. Yep its another monday and it is a rainy one here in the Heartland. Oh well. It means I wont have to water my tomatoes. I had a great weekend in Louisville visiting with family and friends. I was so excited. I went to a farmer's market type place and they had tomatoes from Grainger County Tennessee. They are the best!!!!! I bought a sack to bring home. While I was there I also found genuine stone ground grits for Joan! I'll get it in the mail this week, Joan!
Donuts and a Latte would be divine! I hope everyone has a good Monday and that the computer Gremlins would go away!

Gini sorry to hear Taco got into the bread! Hope that clears up soon. Strawberry shortcake is my favorite--sure sounds like a wonderful weekend!!
KYKAT I would love a fresh from the farm tomato! Seems like the ones in the store have been really seedy and watery. I miss a good meaty beefeater tomato! Those grits for Joan sound good too.

Hi to all I have missed. I am now a brunette! I like it..it's a bit dark, but I think it will fade anyway after a few washings.
Went to Target with the girls and now we are home eating our lunch and it's almost nap time for Maddie..Abbie well hopefully soon. Her afternoon nap is a touch and go...never know when and how long.Hi Jean, nice to meet you :)

Just peeking in quickly because it's....BOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!...... cleaning day once again!
So, what the heck did I miss? I was gone this weekend and only had a few minutes yesterday to check in. Must have missed some drama?
It's a fluffy day here in West Texas where we are expecting a balmy day of 104 degree weather. Get the ice!

The great thing about hair, is that you can always change it! I have been blonde, mouse, strawberry blonde, auburn, OMG that red! and even pink in my lifetime! Currently I am dark blonde bordering on mouse.

I have been blonde, red, brown, even green and purple at the same time, but that was an accident and now know I cannot use any color with Ash in it or that's what my hair turns...lol

Just got back from swimming at the campground's heated pool!
Granddaughter and I left the cottage cheese container open and went out to the garden to get fresh chives, came back in and you know who was up on the counter with his face in the container, his whiskers full of cottage cheese....grrrr, that dickens! He usually is SO good about not going on the counter. LOL! Good thing there wasn't much left in the container! :)

At least I am not alone lol Katt....I went to a professional hair analyst years ago and he told me to look at my hair...so I did..he showed me that my natural hair has blonde, red and black in it. He called me a Calico, he also said that's why I have to avoid the ashes. :)
