  1. Hi Guys.... I know I have not posted much, been quite busy and stressed. I am moving today and tomorrow to my new place. My sister is coming in today to help me move, and movers come tomorrow to get the big stuff. My kits are kinda freeking out, and I am still looking for homes for a couple of them.

  9. MerD...I hope your move is as problem free as can be. I wish there were a chance you could keep your furrbabies. I understand too well that they absorb all the stress they feel their humans going thru & it can really be devastating for them. Sending you & the kits lots of Prayers that things lighten up for you & them & can get back to normal in your new place. {{{HUGS}}}

  19. Are you staying in the same area, MerD? I know you once wrote that you were searching for homes in CO for your kits. Is that where you still are?

    So far problem free. Just a couple of downpours, but did not affect anything. I'm exhausted, and going to make one last drop at the apartment and then get dinner and an alcoholic beverage!!! :-)

  23. You never realize how much stuff you have until you have to pack and move it.
    I just went thru what you are dealing with. I moved from NJ to NC, and I have four cats. I was terrified of losing my babies, and I had even put two of them up on PetFinder in the hopes of finding temporary foster homes for them until I could get back up on my feet. Thankfully, God put an angel in my path, and she and her husband took me in. Me and my four furkids lived in her guest room for a month. Now, I've finally got my own place, and even tho I don't have a job yet, at least the kitties and I have a roof over our heads.
    Merd, I wish you all of the best! Try not to stress so much...the kitties do pick up on it. Perhaps you can pick up a kitty or two and have some relaxing cuddle time. Cats can soak up negative energy. I pray that all will go well for you!
