Hey guys, I'm in the internet cafe here, so I can't post long. Place is beautiful, very hot!!and that comes from a Floridan! Hope every one is having a good week. I'm taking lots of pics, and Bobby is drinking his share of rum runners! I'll post pics when I get back. Family is having fun, and the country is beautiful. Went shopping today, love the little open air trinket markets! Daughter says Hi! she's standing over my shoulder as I type!....

AV, I am soooo jealous! My vacation has been surgery this year (and probably next year too-will take that long to pay off!) so I am green with envy. Boy, Bobby is starting early on his fun, make sure he doesn't have TOO much fun!

We are in the Dominican Republic. It was not a cruise, we flew to Miami, and then down here from there. the resort is beautiful!..... so much FOOD! and DRINKS!... LOL.....The water is beautiful, rough, but warm...The people here are very nice, and are very good about interperting my TERRIBLE Spanish!..... this is an all inclusive resort, so all meals and drinks are included!.... we went to the Casino the first two nights, and I have doubled my money alloted to play with, so I'm happy!... it's nice being with Son and Daughter, without them able to "text" or IM all day! Internet is only at the cafe here, and just for short periods!.... We've been snorkeling, swimming and tomorrow are going to take a cable car up the mountain..... hubbs and I will play golf on Wed..... the atmosphere is very relaxed here.... everyone sleeps late, gets up and goes to the beach, then about 2pm after lunch takes a "siesta" to get ready for the night. They had a huge party last night - a good band that played all kinds of music, and they did a huge Conga line! It was fun!.... hoping I didn't embarress my kids too badly! LOL....well, I've gotta run for now.... hugs and head bonks to all!......
ACK!!! I missed AV!!! And I wanted to buy her a banana daiquiri!!!!

.....wonders why the "cabana" boy tried to serve me "banana daiquiris all day"!!!???!!!.........ick!!!
ok, there is apparently not an international law against speedos over here, because there is an over abundance of 50+ bald, harry men wearing them..... it should be a crime!..... the beach was beautiful today (other than some of the occupants).... crystal clear water, as blue and aqua as you can imagine..... Bobby over indulged himself (slightly) and grabbed his speedo to go change into, but I snatched it back and kept his dignity in tact!...... Went to the "gourmet" restaurant last night, and feasted on fresh lobster and local veggies, it was yummmmm!!!! Tonite, we go back to the Casino and Disco.... dusts off "platform" shoes and looks for silver unitard in suitcase!....
... never know when I'll get back on, PLEASE...... don't let WWM talk that cabana boy into sending me any more banana drinks!.......
a funny note: I wear "hello kitty" pajamas, today the spanish said they were cute, and I promptly replied "ola gatitto".... she laughed!

Great day today! played the hottest round of golf EVER!!!... but it was fun...
