  2. Hi MCW, Mum and I are both fine although a bit cold tonight. She is missing Mitzi, having someone to talk to. The lady from the cattery where Mitzi holidays brought Mum a wonderful photo of Mitzi. She takes pictures of every cat she looks after no matter how many times they may stay with her. How's Bones doing?

  3. Bones is eating reasonably well, peeing profusely, still losing weight - but still demanding attention and purring. He's hanging in there!

    I know it's early days, but do you think your Mum would consider getting another cat?

  4. I'm slowly working on her and she's really missing that company and something to cuddle and talk to during the long night hours so given a wee bit of time and some visits to the SPCA I can see her with an older cat.

  5. Hi, MCW and MS, glad to hear your mum's considering another kitty, MS, the house feels really empty without them, even when they were little ratbags! (Not that Mitzi was, of course, but Jasper was tonight!)

  6. Like your thinking, that's exactly what I would do in your shoes. Sadly Mum isn't allowed a cat where she is, but if we ever get #4 ourselves (if, who am I kidding?!) then I think I'll try and involve her in the decision making process. I just wish at least one of our mob was a bit more forthcoming with her, I think they all just think "eek, hoomin with big stick, RUN" when they see her!

  8. Hi, MCW. Tee hee, Libby is still terrified of people, including my mum, so when Mum comes to stay, I call her 'scary grandma'... Luckily Jasper is quite happy to jump up on her lap and give her drooly kisses...

  10. Me, too, MS, but I'm gonna stay a little longer, I'm eating cinnamon cake in the cafe too. Sweet dreams, stay warm, snuggle up to Mr MS and Shadz!

  11. It's 11.45pm NZ time, ...the night is very chilly in NZ and cool to warm in USA ..... so time to close Night Shift and snuggle under the comforters, so here goes gratis AZDEBRA, LV , & Tigger from the beginning....good job everyone & bless you...

    check - turns fountains off
    check - sweep the floor (never know who has been tossing stuff around)
    check - lights off and turns out neon "TDK Night-Shift" and "Poetry Jam" sign in window
    check - night lights glowing gently, puts on cool jazz radio for ambiance and stragglers check - cat flaps swings creeeeeeeek (pulls out WD-40), check cat flaps again to ensure they swing quietly and effortlessly
    check - doors closed, left just ajar so fuzzbutts don't come to us with complaints
    check - dry kibble out as a midnight snack (so hopefully no 5 am breakfast wake-up call) and freshens litter-box. Puts away assorted fuzzy, squeaky cat-toys into Toy-Box

    check - windows slightly open for Northern TDKers' spring and closed for Southern TDKers' autumn.

    Goodnight to all our imaginary friends in TDK land, Goodnight Airy and Jim-man. White light,healing energy and prayer for all those in need. Be careful out there! Bless all those whom have left before us, please watch over us >^..^<
