Oooops, I'm taking my post from the cafe with me here:
Hi all! I had a busy day today and didn't get a chance to check in. Got up early to walk the dog, went home to feed the boys and give Bobby his pill and go online to get the rules for the tennis league that started today. Left home by nine to go to the club and coach my team through their matches. It was a lot of fun and everyone had a great time. After that I went to lunch with 3 of the girls and then back to the dog's place to walk him and jump in the pool - it got up to 95 degrees on the court today!
Back home to say hi to the boys and then to work.Tomorrow I'm going to go help another team with their first match and then I'm meeting two friends for lunch at the Cheesecake Factory for one's birthday. Thursday I'm halping with two matches and starting a two-day dog-sitting job. This is one LONG week!
Hope everyone's having a great day. Hope Gini's Mike is feeling better and that FH's doctor can help her.

No cheesecake for me, MC!
I went to lunch today with the girls, I'm going tomorrow and then on Thursday I'll meet my friend who runs the league for lunch as well. WAY too much eating out in just a week. I'm saving the calories for my birthday on Monday. I'm going for lunch at my favorite sushi buffet with a group of friends! :)Good night, PM! *waves*

The worst part is that since it's a sushi place, the desserts aren't exactly the greatest - but I'll enjoy the pistaccio ice cream!
The front desk manager told me today when I got in that they're letting her go in a couple of weeks before her vacation starts on July 6th. Not good! EBL had told me last week when she told me morning girl was losing her spot to a free intern that she may have to lay off front desk manager girl. I don't like her much and she'll be replaced with one of the girls in fulfillment who was front desk manager when I started here last April. She'll do a much better job and they'll save money. However, we're still not making any money and I just found out they're laying off the old lady who does the payroll and such - she's EBL and Big Boss' mom! Don't know how long we'll stay in business! :(

Just stopping in to say hi. We had dinner..steaks on the grill...and Maddie touched the grill, burned her finger and now has a 2nd degree burn on her middle finger. Blister and all. I called the Dr, so they told me what to do and watch for...She's okay..gave her some Motrin for pain.
Okay Family Guy is on and time to get the kids to bed....Hugs to all!!!

Evening all that are still here. I saw the post by JJ about the manxs and had a tear. Reminded me that Terri was an expert on the breed with Andy the tailless wonder. I was no help at all, but I know that many of you know so much about cat anatomy. If anyone can help the thread is about a manx.

Evening all, a quick pop in and out. Jcat's cold weather from yesterday has now reached us, brrrrrr. I have been out looking for a smart dressy blouse (for my nephews wedding in several weeks)yet again and today I found it. In a used clothing store and it's in perfect condition and may have only been worn once or twice. $15 and I'm happy. It's now drip drying in a stiff wind. Yay, one more thing off my mind.

Oh, MS--today was the fourth day in a row with temperatures over the century mark (over 100 degrees Fahrenheit). OK, for you, I'll convert to Celsius. It's 31 degrees here at 10:30. Forecast lows are to be about 22-23 and highs are to be at 36 for as long as they project (10 days). At least there is breeze and unusually low humidity to keep the oppression down.

5.30am, no worries Ginny. I was sound asleep this morning when Mr MS gently woke me at 5.30am to say his usual ride had hurt himself and I was going to have to drive him to work. I did, then came home and slipped back into bed with Shadz.

Just peeking into the NS office very quickly as it's below freezing here tonight. I'm not staying but heading off to my hot water bottle and cosy bed. The outside thermometer has stuck at a few points below 0C(32F). I guess the bird bath will be an ice rink in the morning. Shadz is in her basket by the fire but will no doubt slide quietly into bed in the wee small hours. Deb, sorry I'm not staying to chat but my teeth are already starting to chatter. I hope w**k is q***t tonight.
