  1. It's not a moment too soon. Haul the lad into the vet's and get him defrosted. And get Mia done, too. Time is of the essence, and they are already mating.

And if you don't move fast......!

  2. Thanks Emma,

I have Marley booked in for this Friday morning. Keeping the two of them apart untill a week after the operation (as we've been warned to)
We plan to get Mia done also soon.

    Thanks for the advice.

I just feel sorry that I have to take Marleys Man Hood away from him. lol
Mia is such a beautiful looking cat, it would be ashame to not let her have a litter in the future.
I guess we will have to wait and see.

    Thanks again : )

  3. Many many years ago I got Fluffy, she was 4 months old, 2 months later I got Shelly only 2 months old, Fluffy couldn't even look at her, it was the same scenario, it got to a point where in my head only I would think that I wanted to return Shelly, it was really bad, but after a few months they were best friends, they would sleep together and play together and do everything together.
So don't worry, just be patient and love them both a lot. They will get along, they are just tiny and will learn.

  5. We had problems :-(

I booked our Male kitten in Marley to be spayed, turns out he was 'too young' when he arrived. I told the receptionist over the phone he was only 17weeks as i thought he might have been a tad young. but she said he would be fine to go through with the operation.
The vets examined him, as they thought he looked 'too small' and they discovered only one of his testicals had dropped. So they said we have to wait another 4 weeks to see if it drops, if not he might need a majour op!! So fingers crossed!

Only problem now is, we still carnt let our two kittens play together incase he tries mating with her :-(

We have to wait 10days before we can book Mia (female) in to be neutered.
So basically it hasnt gone too well. Just praying Marley will develope
    soon. :-)
Mia will be booked in ASAP. I hate keeping them apart!

  6. If you can put some sort of gating up where the kits can look at each other and chat a bit, that will help keep them bonded while preventing mating.
