Booger has had a waxy discharge from one of his ears for a couple of days. Hubby is off today so he took him to the vet. The vet found he had an ear infection. He cleaned his ear & put antibiotic in it and gave him antibiotic drops for his ear to take home. He gets the drops 2 times a day. Hubby said he was a good boy at the vet as long as he was in the room holding him while the doc worked on him. He will go back to the vet in 2 weeks to make sure the infection has cleared up.

Booger is one of the boys that will be mad for about 10 minutes after you have had to do something to him & then he's over it & wanting to be in your lap. He is a good boy.

SM I think Teaser & Booger have already talked that is exactly what he does. Also when I go to get him for his drops he will run & sit down & wait til you get right to him and run again. When he runs off he will lay his ears back & look at you as if to say, Hahaha, watch & see how many times I can run from you. Booger & I have had this game since he was a kitten, I will get near him & say oh there's my pretty little boy & he will run just so I will chase him. He loves to be chased, hence the name Booger, he has been one since he was a kitten & the name suits him to a T.

Awww poor Booger. Glad to hear the Vet can help with his ear infection. Yes, definitely ask for the lickitty, Booger. Lots of treats for him.
I had to clip Mia's claws last night. We played chase (or at least she thought it was playing) for about 10 minutes. I finally caught her when she was distracted by something outside. She was growling and even hissed at me. I had to stop and give her lots of kisses to reassure her. I managed to get all front claws and then I gave her a handful of Temptations dairy treats. She forgave me within about 15 minutes after the treats.

Well, just gave Booger his home dose of ear medicine. It's called MalOtic and the tip on the tube is an inch long, (that's scary) so it can get into the ear where it is needed. My hubby held him & I put the drops in so he couldn't move his head. I still can't get over how long the tip is. He got plenty & plenty of treats afterwards. He's a good boy!!!

Yes he was quite mouthy, meds are one thing but then when you add insult to injury & hold him real tight where he can't move at all, well that did it for him!
