Last night I welcomed three boys into our cat ranch! Michael's daughter in law called me yesterday desperately hoping I could temporarily take in her fathers three boys. She was keeping them for her father while he finds a new place to live, but Michael's son is highly allergic to them. I wasn't going to do this but she said the magic word........Siamese!!! One of the boys is a Ragdoll Siamese! Marcy brought over Mikey (Siamese), Whiskers (Tuxie), and Petey (DSH). Whiskers is 14, Mikey is 12, and Petey is younger and I'm not sure of his age. They are VERY friendly and their first night in my room was great. Mikey loves head scritches and loving. The others were not out last night but when I turned on the light this morning to get dressed, they were all out, talking to me and wanting attention. I don't know how long this will be for but you know me, I will do what needs to be done. They are VERY sweet boys and so far things are great!

As soon as I can get some pics I will absolutely share them! They are all so handsome! The only problem I can forsee is that an integration will be difficult as the new boys are all declawed (SOB!!!) My zoo crew will probably take to them as they are not skitish but they like to play, rough at times, and I fear for the little old men.

Maybe you should tell that to Michael who read me the riot act last night! He says I need more cats like I need a whole in my head. I asked why he cared as he is not being asked to do ANYTHING, He said I'm getting to be a crazy cat lady, I said thank you! Then I told him to sod off! I am who I am and while I can't save the whole kitty world, I can help when I can. One, two, or three at a time :)
Besides, all I needed to hear was ............Siamese!!!!! I have a big soft spot for meezers and I feel that my Katie and my Snowman would be proud of me! I do sooooooo miss them!

Well, so far so good. I just spoke with Michael and while he didn't go in to check on them, all was quiet in the room and my crew were not stalking the door. I'm leaving job #1 early today so I can take Will to the dentist. I can't wait to check on them and see how they are doing! I can see myself getting VERY attached to these boys!

I stopped in to pick up Will and get changed. When I opened the bedroom door, Petey was on the bed he looked at me and freaked out............. PERSON!!! They all seem to be so attention starved! Petey and Mikey were all about getting scritches and cuddles! Whiskers didn't want to come out till after I started getting changed. I do think Whiskers is blind. He has visible cateracts. He did come to me for scritches but he is just a little skitish. They all kind of get jumpy when my zoo crew are scratching at the door but so far all is well!
