  1. I went to petsmart today to see if they carried kitten chew toys. I wanted something like the raw hide sticks they make for dogs. I couldn't find any so I asked a dude who worked there. He suggested just using the sticks for dogs, but I was afraid of 1. choking and 2. if it would upset her stomach. Any suggestions on what would be save for her to really gnaw on?

  2. I wouldn't give her any rawhide. I have a feeling she would throw it up. There are lots of cat toys and Lickkitty treats are highly recommended by Windi and Willow--WWM would tell you that! There are Greenie treats too. Stick to the feline section is my opinion.

  3. I bought her a kitten wubba, so I hope that can help her a little. The straw worked for awhile, but now it just isn't solid enough. I can't even hold her right now it is so bad. She just chews and chews on my fingers and arms.

  4. I've bought all the dental chews and the stuffed plastic mice. She hasn't lost any teeth yet. I wish I could just get her to chew on something other than my fingers. Oh well, I guess I'll just sit back and enjoy it while it lasts.

  5. Aw, our baby Ally is growing up! She's teething! How cute! I know your hands don't think so but she will be thru this soon! Is that her in your avatar LB? If so, she is becoming a beautiful little girl.

  6. LB, I recently got chew sticks for Milo because he likes to chew on everything. The only place I was able to find them was on Amazon:

When Mi was teething, his new teeth were growing in over his baby ones and his gums were getting a bit irritated. I decided to brush his teeth a little - and knocked oe of his little baby teeth out! He was fine, though - didn't seem to notice :)

  9. What do you do for a 4 yr old that just developed the habit of chewing on lamp wires? I've had to start unplugging the lamp so she won't get hurt, but I'd like to stop it. Worst part is, she's very sneaky so I've only ever caught her once. I've tried rubbing the wire with cinnamon oil ( non toxic of course ), and I don't think that's working. Any suggestions will be helpful.

  10. You could give bitter apple spray a try. They sell it at pet stores.

  11. GD that is exactly what I was looking for! MC, that is Kyba cooling off. She stretches to the max.

  12. I'm glad!
I had been wondering if something like that existed because Milo was driving me nuts with his chewing. I was even ready to try him on dog chews. Did some research online and found these. Milo likes them!

  13. Thanks GD! I'm just afraid she'll like the bitter apple, but I will give it a shot.
