   Of course, cookies made from scratch are always better. There are still the chocolate chips to use. For those of us who don't cook much, these are helpful when one wants some fresh baked cookies.

   As long as Pillsbury dough is safe, I'll be happy.

   I never have understood how it's safe to eat raw cookie dough, like they put into ice cream. When I was a child, my adult sister was making some sugar cookies from scratch and I ate some of the dough raw. The next day I felt decidedly queasy, but I didn't really get sick.
