Morning, Katt!
I'm working 8-1 and then meeting my friend at Panera for tea/lunch. I'll probably need a nap, too, at some point, since Bobby was a little pain in the neck last night and wouldn't let me sleep.
I also need to straighten up at home and get some grocery shopping in.What are you doing?

We have laundry here, girls are dead sound asleep on the bed. Wilma must be exhausted as she is laying all stretched out sleeping on her back. Betty is more reserved curled up in a little ball. Barely lifted their little heads when I got up! I think the storms scared the wits out of them!

OH, that Bobby! What are we going to do with him??! :))
We are going to try and get our pool up and running today....I posted on the night shift that we were given a 27' round pool, with everything....filter, chemicals, etc.....it has been a pain of a project! We used to have an 18', but it rusted out and so we are replacing it with this...they also gave us a huge deck for the pool! Hubs had to cut it into sections to get it here!

AAARGH, does anyone else have the problem lately that TDK causes your computer to lock up?!? It has done that a lot to me lately. Gonna have to restart my computer!

Morning all! Sorry about all your rainy weather. Our daug from Jacksonville went to NYS to see her dad for father's day and it is terrible up there Rochester. We are having great weather tho HOT. I'll take some of those pancakes with butter and blackberry jam please along with some hazelnut coffee, 8 O'clock if you have it. Enjoy your day.

Cinnamon bread and hash brown casserole - yum!
Morning, all. I have a zillion things to do this weekend, most of them non-fun, like cleaning the cat box and doing the dreaded laundry. On the upside, we have tickets to a Broadway play tonight and will probably go out to dinner before the show, so that should be nice.
How's the weather in your corner of the world, PM? It's gray here this morning and is supposed to rain some more later on. I have no words left for how tired we all are of rain.

Best of luck with the pool, Katt! It'll be nice once you get it ready. I keep meaning to ask my landlord for a key to the community pool and I never get around to it as I rarely see him. One of these days.... I'm dog-sitting next weekend and there's a pool there, so at least next weekend I can enjoy the pool.

im getting fairly sick of the rain. its like we hardly had any sunny days and the days it was sunny, only for a part of the day.
we just have wet misty rain and im still wearing track pants and a sweater cause its not warm. though it feels almost like a cool sticky feel.

good morning all !! i'd like a raisin bagel toasted with btter abd cream cheese please. it's an overcast cool day today, my plans are to unpack and sort the last box, pickup and clean the apt. and maybe paint another door in my bedroom. tomorrow i go to my dad's and wish him happy father's day with a card and gift. and monday i go to albany for a one day engineering course...

Hi, Everyone! We can't believe it, but it rained all night here. We've had a little over 1" since last evening. We were desperate for rain, not having had any real rainfall since last October. So this is more than welcome. The turtles are all out tromping around - they love the rain.
The stupid snake is back in its hiding place. Mr. WWM tells me that it is a black king snake and for some reason, he has named the thing Elvis. If it were up to me I'd whack it with a shovel (the age old Texas method of dispatching a snake) but I'm afraid that somehow PETA would find out. The strange thing is that just last week Deb sent me an email about "never kill a black snake". They will eat rattlesnakes, mice, rats, etc. I don't believe that Elvis could hurt my turtles. But if I even suspect that, he is toast.
We have to go to Lubbock today for a picnic :-( It's a perfect day to stay home and a lousy day for a picnic. But it's a "must go" kind of thing. Darn.
