  1. The adventure of moving is finally over...whew! We are settling in nicely. I finally got my internet connected yesterday. I think the furry crew is happier than I am, even the old grump Penny is acting like a kitten.

Now, hopefully, I can start spending a little more time with my TDK family :).

  3. YAY! Welcome back! Glad the kittehs are settling in to their new home! Now you need to do the same thing!

  4. CCM glad to see that you are back!! Sounds like the move went pretty well--or at least as a move could go! Penny is acting like a kitten! She must like the new home!!

  5. Chuck!!! Glad you are back, I was just thinking about you and hoped you were well.

  6. Glad you are settled! How nice you will escape winters, though how much bad weather did you get in Arkansas??!! AZ sounds better, though :)))

  7. Welcome to AZ ! If you need anything .. need to know where anything is or the best this or that.... let me know ! curious as to your major cross roads.. :)

  8. Thank you all!!

Katthays, lots of t-storms and tornados. When I left the part of NE AR I lived in was under flood warnings. Talked to my mother and yesterday they had just had some pretty major storms, but really the humidity is the killer.

2 P, hmmm... off University between Ellsworth and Crismon.

  9. Hi CCM. Glad you are home at last! Welcome back.

  10. CCM - that's about 20 minutes from me. I drive up that way every Monday night for a hike! Oh.. we'll HAVE to get together !!! Are you a hiker by chance?

Humidity is negligible here... August is the worst. remember... it's a dry heat - and tell yourself that when the temp is 118! ;)

  11. Welcome back CCM! Glad to hear you're all settlingin so well :o)

  12. WB CCM!!!

2P, love the comment, 'it's a dry heat'!

Posted 2 years ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  13. Welcome back CCM!! The heat?,God almighty it's 93 here and I guess a "wet heat" lol. I went outside to work in the yard took a deep breath and almost fainted. I came back inside to work.
I'm glad you're settled in,I'm still getting settled in here and am enjoying it. :)

  14. We are enjoying. The cats seem to really love the place. Penny has never gotten comfortable with a new place so fast, and like I said is acting like a kitten, or at least a younger cat, zipping thru the house, chasing balls and beating up defenseless knitted mice (courtesy of TKN).

I love the heat :), my daughter thinks I'm crazy. We were sitting here last night watching a movie and I got up to turn the ceiling fan off. She says "dad it's 80 in here!" I said yeah, it's kind of chilly with the fan on.

2 P, back before life threw me that last curve ball I walked 3 miles a day but I haven't gone hiking since Boy Scouts. It would be cool to give it a shot if you are willing to take it easy on me.

  15. CCM - lol I keep my thermostat at 83 ! When the AC kicks in, and I'm on the couch I grab a blanket because it blows right on me. LOL

The hike is as part of a group.... it's 2 miles each one, one way is up. ha ha ha! You get settled a bit more and let me know if you want to hike up the side of a mountain at 6 p.m. It's on the east side, so we're in the shade :) you can email any time at yellowjeepin at yahoo dot com

  16. Really!?! It's not even 80 outside. I think we have seen maybe one day above 80 this year so far! I would like a little indication it is summer! Trade you some rain

  17. Welcome back CCM, LOL at Penny's antics. A change is as good as a holiday they say.

  18. Welcome back, CCM! Happy to hear Penny is settling in so fast. Sure wish I had your "internal thermostat"...... I can feel 'too hot' (flash) even in the winter, lol!!
