Morning, Everyone!!!! We think (knock on wood) that our snake, Elvis, has left the building! At least we hope so as the plan today was for Mr. WWM to assist Elvis in finding a new home. We've looked everywhere and we don't see him but of course, they are very good at not being seen.
I'm off to make pancakes!
Great pictures, AV! Beautiful resort. I wonder if you could email me info on that?

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to all the Dads out there!
AV, what wonderful pics!!!! I adore your white hat and must have it!! Sure looked like a beautiful place to be!
My hubs is one Dad who likes to chill on FD....some like to do something special, others not so. My Dad loved to grill chicken, so when he was alive he did it every FD and would have us all over...that was his way of relaxing and celebrating! -
Chilling is good on FD too! I just think it is so funny how different we celebrate Mother's Day vs. Father's Day. It is so much more laid back with the dads!

Awww, that is so sweet. Thanks, Bella.
Hubby just got a last minute tennis game - hurrah! He hasn't played in days because of the neverending rain. I'm sending up entreaties to the rain gods that the rain stays away at least long enough for them to play. Then his younger daughter is coming over later, so that will be nice.

Welcome home AV, just saw your post. I was on earlier for work, went to church and now we are getting ready to cook some ribs on the grill this afternoon and watch the British Grand Prix (formula one race) with some friends. My hubby is a fanatic of that stuff! My grown son is out of town, hopefully will see him later but looking fwd to a great Father's Day and first day of Summer! Get some rest, I'm sure you need it after all that traveling ;o) Everyone have a beautiful and blessed day!

Hi all..back from running around. Maddie is asleep and Abbie will be soon. AV, the girls graduated college since you were gone...lol. So we had drama this morning. Wayne cut his knuckle down to the bone trying to fit a fan in a window and it was bleeding...so we put gauze on it and it's okay for the moment but he's in pain...Its a small but deep cut...oh boy...
AV, those pictures were gorgeous!!! Your villa...wow...the sights were incredible..beautiful family. I died laughing when I saw Rasta Bobby! Then doing shots with Abby and drinking his cocktail. HILARIOUS!!Posted 2 years ago by cricketsmama #

CM, I strongly agree with SM - if it's to the bone, he probably needs stiches.... most likely a 24 hr. walk in medical clinic can do it (probably much cheaper than the emergency room), or at least call your family doctor.... hopes WWM pops in soon, she will really have good advise. Or, google the ask a doctor....... deep cuts always worry me because they can be come infected so easily, and cause serious infection....... prayers headed your way!......
....bye the way, what did the girls major in? LOL ....(time is in a whole other universe down there)....

hello anyone still around?

CM, if it is to the bone, then it probably would have taken a stitch or two. But after about two hours it's not really feasible to do any stitching. But, you might go to the drugstore and buy some butterfly bandages. They really are almost as good as stitches in pulling the wound together. And keep some antibiotic ointment on it. He should keep that finger dry for at least a couple of days. You can take latex gloves like you buy in a big box (they are great to have around anyway) and tape it at his wrist to form a moisture proof barrier when he showers.
What a way to celebrate FD!!!!!
