   While there have been occassions I have not posted in several days, they have been unplanned abscences.

   I am "putting myself into the shop for an overhaul". It would be nothing serious except for the tinkering has to be abdominal. No big C's or ticker issues.

   I plan to be back online sometime next week if not sooner.

   Yes, the contact instructions are in an envelope at the desk should something untoward transpire. Just remember the Good Lord doesn't want me and the old devil won't have me.

   I am winding things up at work today and doing the pre-op stuff this evening.

   Thank you in advance for your kind thoughts and well wishes. I may not have time to comment before the deadline to leave for the hospital.

    Thank you all for your kind responses.
    I have had a brief reprieve. One of the surgical team members has had a family emergency. I am rescheduled for Friday the 26TH.
    Sorry for the pre-mature alarm. I will post a short announcement just before leaving for the Surgery Friday Morning so you know I am on my way.
