   Morning, everybody, I'm waiting for my cinnamon swirl buns to finish being kneaded in the breadmaker so thought I'd start the cafe. Jasper is chasing Libs all over the place, little ratbag, so that's why the name! We will have hot yeasty cinnamon swirls with vanilla glaze for breakfast with coffee, tea and hot chocolate. All the cold drinks and fruit juices you can think of, pastries to feed an army and the grill is on and waiting for your order. Home-baked muesli, toast, yoghurt and fresh fruit as well.

   Come on in. How's your morning so far?

   Hi Jcat, cinnamon swirls Mmmmmmmm. i'm sitting here with a mug of hot vanilla milk and Shadz has gone crazy and is racing all around the house. She has been out for the last hour and has come in wired. She sucked down a bowl of warm milk and then went on her wild rampage. Can't stay long as I have to be up and out at 5.30am to get hubby from work, he has done an 18 hour shift and someone forgot to organise taxis for the boys in the morning,grrrrrrrr.

   Morning, Jcat! Ooh, cinnamon buns, yumm! Love those.

   George was just on a tear, bouncing off every piece of furniture in the place, including the table that holds the spiffy plasma TV - yikes! Hubby is convinced it's heavy enough that George can't knock it over, but it was wobbling pretty good a minute ago.

   Hate to sound like a broken record, but it's another gray day here with a chance of rain. At least the tennis courts are open.

   Hubby and I put off booking our vacation too long, so no cruise for us this time around (last minute apparently means at least 3 weeks in advance - whoever made up that rule obviously doesn't know my indecisive husband, or my boss who waits until Thursday to tell me I have the following week off).

   I'm so pleased (and jealous!) to hear about SM's daughter's trip. She's going to have stories for a lifetime, and the travel bug, too.

   Hi, MS and Kilroy. Gosh, well, cat chase cafe was obviously appropriate then, all of our little kitties are running round like mad banshees, lol...

   Ohhh, MS, 5.30, eek! Poor old hubby and poor old you.

   Kilroy, that stinks about your weather, what use is summer if there's no sunshine? Sorry to hear about the cruise, too, what a shame. Perhaps you could fly to Ireland instead...?

   Hi Jcat, MS, Kilroy. It's a glorious sunny day here in the UK, but not such a great day otherwise...prnaged the car on the way to work this morning, and have just made it back home. Car's at the garage, I'm waiting to hear if they'll have a courtesy car available anytime soon...I'm fine, just a bit shaken.

   Kilroy, sounds like hubby might be having his holiday in the dog house for being indecisive.
   Cat chase is very appropriate. it's gone very quiet here now, that can only mean Shadz has commandeered my bed. At least she can have Mr MS's half tonight. I don't envy him working in a large open building tonight, it's just on freezing now.

   MCW!! Are you OK?? Really?? Yikes.

   I'm sure we'll find something to do; the latest thought is to fly to Chicago and then drive to Springfield, Illinois to visit the Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum, which we've wanted to see for ages. He was halfway to booking it last night and then decided he was tired of sitting at the computer and would wait until today - argh! This is for *next week*.

    Yeah, I'm OK Kilroy, like I said, bit shaken, and going over the "what ifs" - both driver side wheels are knackered though, plus probable damage to the steering rack and the suspension.

    Yikes, it's midnight. I must head off to bed before my coach turns into a pumpkin. Goodnight/day to all. Don't eat all the cinnamon swirl buns.
    Ohhhhh, MCW, not a good idea but the main thing is you are ok. Don't think of the 'what if's' you'll scare yourself and it doesn't actually help either.

    Good Morning all! I will have some cinnamon buns and a glass of cranberry juice! I have an AWFUL headache today and I want to cry! Not a real great day on tap! MCW I hope the car is ok and you are not injured! Watch those middle of the road things! They are always a problem!

    Morning, MC! Do you think that maybe the train fire is contributing to your headache? I know you don't want to leave the girls to go to a shelter, but is there a friend you could stay with or something? I'm worried about you (and now I'm worried about MCW, too).

    Hi Kilroy! I'm ok, although if we don't get some sun soon we all may turn into mushrooms! Lovely Leela is doing fine. It's a shame; she gets wound up and wants to play as I leave for work. It's so hard to leave the house! Her friend Larry is upstairs but when I come home, she will have brought him down and he will be near the door!

    I'm back, sorry, took longer than I thought and Jasper kept banging at the kitchen door all the way through it -- he wouldn't leave his poor sister alone to go to sleep so I put him out but he's back in now...

    MCW, ohmigosh, how frightening! I'm so glad you're all right. Don't worry about the car, that can be fixed. And try to put it out of your mind, though I know it's hard, but all's well that ends well (I find myself saying that to myself a lot!)

    MC, perhaps you overdid it yesterday with the work and I'm sure Kilroy's right, that ethanol can't be doing your poor head any good either. Can you stay home today with the girls?

    *yawn* Back to work after my vacation. I had a great time with my family! It was a long drive home and I would rather be sleeping today. Can't stay long at the cafe today...got tons of work to catch up.

    LK, I have to agree - back to work after vaca is terrible!.....hard to get motivated!
    Jcat, those cinnimon buns sound great, my mom used to make homemade buns when I was little - my brother, sister, and Dad really LOVED them..... personally, I have never eaten sugar, but I know they were absolutely addicted to them!

    Good morning, all!
    MCW, I hope you're alright! MC, hope your awful headache goes away soon and you feel better!

    Guess what? I got my present from the boys last night!!! No waing me up all night!!! YAY!! Of course the weather is absolutely horrendous so that did wake me up around three and then again around six, but I fell right back asleep again.
    My tennis got rained out after I spent hours last night trying to get enough players for today! But at least I can watch Wimbledon on TV. Kilroy - tell hubby to do that, too!

    Kilroy - come to the Beach! flights from NY to Tampa are around $200 round trip.... our beaches are beautiful, Busch Gardens theme park is in our city and Disney is a hour drive!.....there are TONS of lovely places to stay right on the beach......

    Holy Cow MCW..I am glad you are okay. That must have been a fright for you. ((MCW))
    I am functioning on zombie mode...I was up at 3:30 since Maddie got up then didn't get to go to sleep till after 5 then both kids got up at 6:30..been running around since. Now I have to pack them up and go to Target for birthday presents...

    MC I hope you feel better soon. AV..I want to come to Disney :)
