  1. Hello again, all!
Raspberries would be nice! I'm having my cup of apple sauce for dinner. I'm trying to be really good today about getting back to my diet since yesterday I went all out. Poor Auntie Ellen had to go get on the scale this morning after our sushhi expedition - she'd gained 3 lbs. I told her that's why I don't weigh myself after such a feast! I told her to drink a ton of green tea :)

My tennis got rained out today and I'm waiting to see if tomorrow's matches will be rained out, too. Arrrrgh - I hate this weather!

  2. Good afternoon/evening/morning all. Cold as a witches t*t here again. Had to get up at 5.15am to go and get hubby from night shift. Shadz refused to get out of bed and was still there when we got home and snuggled back in with her. I've been up for ages and guess where HRH still is. We're calling her the Organic hot water bottle now.

  4. Smart kitty that's for sure. Got a txt from KK this morning who is in another city doing 2 important presentations, it appears she and her workmate had a tad too much wine last night and are feeling slightly brittle this morning, he he he.

  5. I'm about to go to bed now. Garbo will come up with me but she doesn't stay long. She and Hepburn were playing on my legs at 4.00 this morning. I did not call them my little sweethearts, or even dear little pussy cats.

  6. http://thepoodleanddogblog.typepad.com/the_poodle_and_dog_blog/2009/06/students-family-and-school-district-disagree-about-a-service-dog.html

Student’s family and school district at odds concerning a service dog

Question I would have though is, if the young lady has had seizures since the age of 1 yr old why haven't they had a service dog before or what did the school do before in the event she had them there?

  9. MS, so besides it being colder than a witches t*t and getting up @ sparrow fart hours, how are you doing otherwise?

Posted 2 years ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  10. I have to drive to Birmingham tomorrow. It's only about 2 hours (perhaps a bit more) but I could do with a good night's sleep before I set off.

  11. I love Butterball! She is one smart girl! You know it was 98F here today and Betty and Wilma have been snuggling with me. Its really too hot for that but they keep coming back! Sending warmth to the Kiwis!

  14. Lol, just think all that training as a wife, mother, servant to HRH has paid off...mine only wish I was a more willing servant to their wishes!

  15. Deb, other than the t*t and sparrow's f**t I'm doing pretty good. Been busy making sure I have everything for this weekends wedding. Then last night I realised with Mr MS on night shift for this week at least we're not going to be able to get him new shoes so I'll have to really polish the old ones to make them look respectable. If he does it there is polish all over the place.

  16. If it is frosty outside what is HRH doing outside??? She just came from a warm and comfy bed to FROST????

  17. MS, I forget again, who's wedding are you going to?

    Posted 2 years ago by mollycat71 #

  18. MC, when a girls got to go a girls got to go. She doesn't use a litter tray, just asks to go out if she needs to.
The wedding is Mr MS's nephew and our daughter Meegz is bridesmaid.

  19. Probably have already missed you, but sweet dreams PM!

MS you are the lucky one!! No need to scoop and clean litter box!!

  20. Grumbling...... we have to go to a play tonight. It's a benefit and is one of those "you have to do this" things. Hopefully I will be pleasantly surprised and the play will be good!

    We are off!

  21. have fun wwm!!!

    Posted 2 years ago by mollycat71 #

  22. There is that SM, but I do have to pick up mouse guts and vacuum up the feathers and use long tongs to remove wetas that she brings in. Pros & cons.

    Posted 2 years ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  23. WWM what is the play? Try and enjoy--will make the time go faster!

Posted 2 years ago by SoxsMom #

  24. MS, see thats where that good training comes in, add to the list shoe polisher! Always did my own boots while in the military, just keep my shoes clean now but still can't go outside with scruffy shoes. Will Mr. MS at least be semi-awake for the wedding with him working the midnight shift?

  25. I think it's called Getting Sara Married. Very community theater!

Posted 2 years ago by WillowandWindismom #

  26. It could still be good!

    Posted 2 years ago by mollycat71 #

  27. You know what MS? I have decided I would rather clean a cat box than have to ever get near a Weeta!!! Those things are positively creepy!!

  28. Hi all! Popping in before I dive back into the book I'm reading!.... ever since vaca, I've been a reading "fiend"!.......I read "the Guardian" in 2 days!.... and then the next day, I read "the Notebook"!..... now I'm reading "Twilight", which daughter lent me on the plane ride home, and it's good.... better than I expected!..... guess now I'll have to rent the movie!....

... dinner was soooo easy tonight.... sauteed some chicken, then heated up either mac n cheese or risotto, both of which I had plenty of leftovers!... it was truly a 10 minute meal!

Posted 2 years ago by AV #

  29. My dinner's a one minute meal - and that includes the time it takes to eat it. A cup of unsweetened apple sauce :(

Posted 2 years ago by GreatDane #

  30. Deb, believe me Mr MS WILL be awake at the wedding. I'll be right beside him to nudge him if he should attempt to sleep. I learnt to polish shoes when I was in the Girl Guides, our shoes had to really shine or else.
SM, I've found 2 weta this week, one was in the firewood stacked up by the fire place and the other one had walked in the window and settled down on the dining room table. It's been a 2 scream week so far.
