Shutting the windows and throwing on the air conditioner. The agency kitties are hot tonite and they need some cool air. We have lots of cold drinks and cold treats. Fresh fruit and ice cream, sherbet and sorbet, pretzels and nuts to snack on. Come on in and join us! Grab a snack before bed!

Hi MC! Is your head any better than it was this morning?
I'm so tired! It's been grey and rainy and stormy out all day. THe rain brought something in that started up my allergies and I ended up taking a Zyrtec around noon. Fell asleep for a couple of hours and I'm still really drowsy :(I'm looking forward to going home andhanging in front of the tv with my boys and some gummi bears.

GD, WAKE UP! I had to go find the 'nip socks! They had hid them under the bed and waited for ME to get them out so they could play with them some more! I hope Bob lets you sleep tonite, you need it!

Evening all!... Hi Lynn, MC, GD, AR, and anyone else out there "lurking"!.... nice evening for us, count down til Daughter goes off to college (Sat. i.e. 4 days!)..... we're in that wierd *tween* phase from mourning to freedom..... a strange feeling to say the least, of anticipation of "empty nesters".....Son is still trying to find homes for his cats, since the fraternity has "disallowed" all animals (no surprise here)... but he's working on things.... how is everyone tonight?

She will take the best that you taught her and move on from there. I know it is difficult, but you will make it through. Prayers are with you.

awwww.... thanks Lynn, it's much more difficult than I thought it would be to see our "baby" go.... Hubbs is really having a hard time of it!...
.... Son will navigatge his way - we've told him for 2 years that he needs to "downsize" his animal collection - he has big plans to live/work in DC when he graduates, and that atmosphere is just not condusive to many pets.... sometimes you just have to let them work things out for themselves... hard, but necessary....!

Just got home and popping in and then right out again. We went to a community theater tonight for a fund raising event. I had sort of low expectations but the play was really very cute. Called Getting Sara Married. All in all, a very pleasant way to spend the evening.
But I'm pooped and think that I'm heading off to bed. Sweet dreams, everyone!

I disappeared--hubby got home from late vestry meeting. I guess the group is a buzz over the upcoming wedding--haven't had a wedding in that church for a looonngg time. I am handling the reception. I have done event planning when I lived in Germany, but it has been awhile. I think I finalized the last of it--considering the wedding is Saturday.... Well the person that was handling it had to pass it off because of vacation plans. I have been on this since Friday--I hope it is all together and goes without a hitch! Okay allergies are wicked, so I took medication. I am a bit sleepy.

It's 11.15pm, NZ time, ...the night is very chilly in NZ and cool to warm in USA ..... so time to close Night Shift and snuggle under the comforters, so here goes gratis AZDEBRA, LV , & Tigger from the beginning....good job everyone & bless you...
check - turns fountains off
check - sweep the floor (never know who has been tossing stuff around)
check - lights off and turns out neon "TDK Night-Shift" and "Poetry Jam" sign in window
check - night lights glowing gently, puts on cool jazz radio for ambiance and stragglers check - cat flaps swings creeeeeeeek (pulls out WD-40), check cat flaps again to ensure they swing quietly and effortlessly
check - doors closed, left just ajar so fuzzbutts don't come to us with complaints
check - dry kibble out as a midnight snack (so hopefully no 5 am breakfast wake-up call) and freshens litter-box. Puts away assorted fuzzy, squeaky cat-toys into Toy-Boxcheck - windows slightly open for Northern TDKers' spring and closed for Southern TDKers' autumn.
Goodnight to all our imaginary friends in TDK land, Goodnight Airy and Jim-man. White light,healing energy and prayer for all those in need. Be careful out there! Bless all those whom have left before us, please watch over us >^..^<
