Well I called the 'Cat House on the Kings' Sanctuary to see if they could help home my ferals for me,rather than what the inevitable might be for them. I talked to the Founder herself, Lynea Lattanzio. She has such a calmness to her voice. It's no wonder her sanctuary has been successful (with so many cats in one place getting along-that is). A successful sanctuary would be one that wasn't needed at all.
Sadly enuf, her place is full up w/700 plus cats & at least 100 kittens. she could only recommend calling a place in S.F. called Bright Haven, who might be able to help (that's a slight might) w/my elderly ferals. I'm quite bummed out about it. I was so hoping she could help me. :(
I tried to transfer the link to Cat House on the Kings so you could all see what this woman does for cats & dogs alike. The puter is not allowing me to share for some reason. But,If you google the name & click the 'facility' link at top when your sent to the sight...you'll be in awe as to what this woman has accomplished with her sanctuary.
