Hello my TDK family. I'm sorry I have not posted in the last week or so. I have had a wonderful house guest! Abbey came for a visit and stayed through my birthday. It was a great birthday gift. She has had such a hard time "growing the little baby". Really sick to her stomach and very tired. It is so nice for her to want some "mom time" also. I am blessed. I worked during the day and she stayed inside. The weather has been so hot here in College Station. Yesterday 107, that is the temp...not the heat index! Yikes! The boys have also been thrilled that she was here. Abbey is Wilbur's special good friend and he stuck pretty close to her the whole time. It was so cute, she would be sitting on the sofa and he always had to be touching her, even if it was just a single paw. So sweet. I don't know if you folks remember, but Miss Kitty gave me a little meezer kitten the day we got back from Paris. Well, Hadley is so fantastic. Meezer color with pale blue eyes. I'm not sure if Hadley is a boy or girl yet. I am going to bring "him" inside to live with the boys. As soon as he is weaned, vetted and fixed. I hope the boys will accept him. The thought of a baby kitten in the house again is really excited. I hesitated but told myself that it would be good for the boys. Hope it is the right decision. My special needs kitty, Ripley is back with me. He was going to a forever home but it did not work out. The young man who is the brother of one of my grad students decided to get married. The new fiance does not want another kitty in the house. I have Ripley back and am looking for a good home for him. He is such a dear kitty and so very sweet. He loves to be loved on and has a huge purr. His little twisted body does not seem to bother him. He is a little over a year old and if finally getting his testicles. So far only one! When they fully come in he will go for a spa day. Well, that is about all the news from us. I hope that all of you are well, happy and not as hot as we are! Love, hugs, purrs, headbonks and of course prayers for a safe summer. Sorry this was so long!

Hi Puddytat--you make me have to catch my breath. I see my own growing and spreading her wings to fly--it is killing me. I want her to grow up and have all those wonderful things--I am just not ready to let go. I am glad you have time together before the baby comes! Ripley is safe with you--his personal angel. May he find the perfect home.

PT, glad you updated us on your ever growing family, two and four legged! I hope that you know that maybe Ripley wants to be with YOU! When/if the time is right, he will find his furrever home. Keep yourself cool, I think it is hot everywhere right now. We got to 98 this week which is quite a feat this far north.
