  1. Hi CF, I know you must be on pins and needles....wonder if they will "hold" Bianca till Thursday, it's not long. Especially after Porchia (although it's great news she found a forever home), you could sweet talk them I bet ;o) She is so adorable you KNOW she has to be your new kitty

  3. Yes, I know shes adorable, lol. I sent them an e-mail last night, asking if they can hold her for me.

  4. CF, if you can put a deposit on her, that might help. I know at my shelter, we only hold for 24 hours unless a deposit as made as so many people ask us to hold cats, we do, they never come back and in the meantime we've turned down good homes for them because we promised to hold them. If the person puts down a deposit, we know they mean to come back. Good luck with this beauty!

  6. The thing is, the shelter is a ways away, so I'm hoping this e-mail I sent them will get to them. We have a check coming in the mail that might actually come here before Thursday, so I am hoping that will come in Possibly tomorrow, or even today! (which would be a miracle!!)

  7. She e-mailed me back and said they only do 24 hour holds, but I couldn't do that anyway, because I would have to fill out an application first to see if I am the right kitty mommy for the baby. She also said, if its ment to be, Trudy/Bianca will still be there on Thursday. :)

  8. Bump!
I was looking around and I found this baby girl who was in a kill shelter. I know Trudy's shelter isn't a kill shelter, I still might get her, but I think the kitten in the kill shelter needs me. :(
What do you guys think I should do?

  9. The one in the kill shelter needs you more--you will be saving her life!

  10. CF, you would be a good kitty mom to either but agree with Sheba's mom, the kitty from the kill shelter is in more desperate need. Hope you can rescue her.....

  11. I am going to go to my local animal shelter next week and I just think I am going to go and see which kitten chooses me, that would be fair. And the shelter does have a great deal! The adoption fee is only $45 for a kitten and this includes:
    Spay/Neuter
    Rabies Vaccination
    Upper Respiratory Vaccination
    Worming
    Fe-leuk combo test
    Microchip

    I think its wonderful! :)
I won't get to go untill next Monday, because it is closed on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

  12. Sounds like a great plan CF, those little rascals have a way of spotting the right person to go home with, they know you love kitties. That is a great deal and you'll be a hero(ine) to a deserving little fur baby.

  13. It turns out we are going to go and get the kitten today! I was going to go on Monday with my Dad, but he can't come home any more...
I am soooo excited, when I get home from the shelter today, I'll imediantly post some pictures!!
