At first I was feeding them the already made KMR formula and they all had diarreah type poohs. Then I switched to the powdered kind and just like that their pooh's are really solid and they seem to sqweel in pain when I pick them up and gentley rub their bum with a warm wash cloth. One of them pushed a couple terds out but couldn't seem to make it all come out cause I could see there was a big one in there still. Could it be that I need to put more water in the formula when I make it? Are solid poohs normal for this young of kittens? What do I need to do to help them go number 2 better?

Why don't you try a mixture of pre-made KMR and powdered? Maybe you can hit a happy medium.
